“My experience with this doctors surgery has been second to none. All the reception staff and medical staff have been apsaloutly amazing. I have a fair few health conditions and been struggling with various things. Dr Durkin and Emily the prescriber apsaloutely lovely so so compassionate towards my needs and these 2 staff have really gone out of their way to help me and I'm very greatful!! Thank you for always taking the time out to listen to me without feeling like I dont have a voice. And thank you for caring so much. The reception staff are also so compassionate, patient and understanding as well especially Avril always goes out of her way to help as much as she can and always takes the time out to listen. “My apple watch detected that I was experiencing high heart rates. I felt off but not ill. On Monday, 08:00, 5/08/2024, I entered my details in Patches. At 9:30, I received a text for a telephone appointment that afternoon which resulted in n appointment with a GP,08:40, Tuesday, 06/08/2024. After consultation, I was asked to wait till a room would be available for an E.CG.and blood tests. All of these were concluded resulting another G.P consultation. Resulting in a heart condition being diagnosed, full clear explanation, medication prescribed with benefits and possible side effects explained and two further appointments made. This treatment along with lovely people conducting themselves in their jobs with professional attitudes, kindness, caring and supportive given this was a bit alarming for me. Excellent surgery and patient/ client care from start to finish. I and my family have been registered with this surgery since 1993 and have only ever experienced openness, great and effective care and always , always treated with kindness. Thank you so much for everything.”

“I cannot believe all the negative comments about this practice. I have rarely had a problem, yes it can be difficult at times to get an appointment but if you explain your problem politely i have usually been offered an alternative. I find the reception staff friendly and efficient never ever rude. I think you get back what you give out so be polite and friendly and willing to accept something different. The nurses ( especially donna) have always followed through on treatments etc. making sure referrals have been acted on. I wish my son had this practice instead of the way worse one he attends. I would recommend it to anyone.”

“I have been using this GPs for over 20 years, unfortunately last year I found it really hard to get appointments and even speak to someone for help. I must say over the last 6 months I have seen a much better level of attentiveness from this GP. I don’t like using patch’s to book but now I am used to it, for important things like a recent bout of pneumonia I was seen the same day and the doctor was excellent. My previous complaints about this practice were the difficulty getting an appointment, never the quality of care - now I understand the system I have not had issues with getting support. For new comers just get used to using Patch’s to book appointments and make sure you get on by 8 am if you need something same day. I have gone on as late as 9am and still managed to get an appointment.”
