“Busy lunchtime service 1 - 3pm. Lots of people ordering food. Looked and smelled delicious. ( drinks only ). Staff friendly and helpful. Gemma, Piers and later Simone. Really friendly atmosphere- good bit of banter between the regulars.”

“Stunning food, great service. We had a fantastic experience. We asked to share our starters, no problem at all. We had asparagus and the scallops. Both beautiful. The lamb was beautiful too very tastes and cooked medium rare which is just how I like it. I am sure they would cook it to your preference. , I had it with the blackened carrots. Cod was so chunky too and cooked to perfection. We were so full but we had the cheeseboard and again it was delicious and even put on extra crackers! Lovely birthday and anniversary treat we Will definitely be back Thank you!”

“Visited Mr. Su’s Noodles & Dumplings in Leeds and was genuinely impressed by the quality and flavours. Their ramen, both vegetarian and chicken, is absolutely outstanding. The broth in each bowl was rich, well-balanced, and full of depth — you can really tell it’s been slow-cimmered and thoughtfully prepared. The veg ramen was comforting and flavourful with fresh vegetables and a beautifully seasoned broth, while the chicken ramen was equally impressive with tender chicken and a perfectly umami-rich base. The noodles had just the right bite and soaked up the flavours brilliantly. Portion sizes were generous, presentation was appealing, and everything tasted fresh and authentic. The ambience is relaxed and welcoming, and the service was friendly and efficient, making the overall experience even better. If you’re in Leeds and looking for proper comfort food with authentic flavours, Mr. Su’s is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!”

“I thought the food and service was excellent. However it was very quiet so ambience was difficult to gauge although it’s not the cosiest of spaces and if it was busy I think it would be loud and a bit sterile. Having said that would like to try it again when it is busy just to see.”

The food is excellent, the staff, whom I assume to be family, are courteous, attentive and on the ball. Always a friendly welcome, great atmosphere, and whether people notice or not, excellent background music. I cannot praise this establishment highly enough! “I honestly don't know how they can produce such high quality food as a buffet, with so many available dishes. All the meat was tender, even the beef. They had some unusual dishes to try, like eel sushi, which was delicious and apples cooked in wine, which was the star of the show, in my opinion. Very friendly staff too. We were a group of 6 peoples.We ordered starters and main both.. For the main, 3 of our party had the Steak and each opted for a different sauce option. I chose peppercorn and would recommend this. Steak was juicy and cooked well to a medium rare. Fries were thin and crispy. For dessert I had the Tiramisu . This was the best tiramisu. I tried. I also had a glass of the Merlot this was nice. The toilets were well decorated and flushed effectively. Everything was spot on.. Surely,Would definitely back again..”

“Came in for some food with my fiancé, our local was closed so we decided to try Aanya. We were pleasantly surprised! The waiter for very attentive and friendly. The food was very nice, full of flavor and not oily. We really enjoyed the meal and found the restaurant very beautiful. The glass spice pictures on the wall are very tasteful . “First time take away with happy chef this evening, and I was very impressed. Delivery time was exactly what they said it would be, the delivery driver was so pleasant and polite. I had the special curry, my son had chicken fried rice and curry sauce, crispy won tons, and shared chips. My curry was the best I've ever had from a Chinese takeaway, great portion and plenty of sauce. Will deffo be using happy chef in future.”

“We have been here quite a few times now and like to visit on a Thursday or Friday afternoon before the weekend crowds descend on the City centre. On our last visit we ordered a selection of nibbles to put us on and I think the choices we made were perfect . We especially liked the cod cheeks. John doesn't like Oysters but I couldn't resist the offer that they had on of 6 Lindisfarne Oysters and 2 glasses of @nyetimber for £34. The oysters were the biggest I have ever seen and they were yummy. Angelica's has a great happy hour that is actually 4 hours long. My favourite was the frozen pina colada and John opted for the frozen strawberry daiquiri. It's so nice to sit outside on the rooftop terrace and it's not a problem if it's a little chilly as there are heaters under the parasols.”

“Had a lovely meal at the Pheasant. Food was delicious and served on hot plates. Reasonably priced food, dog and kid friendly. Staff are all very welcoming. The bar tender called Will was brilliant, he was very accommodating and friendly. He couldn't do enough for us, he's an asset to the pub. Would highly recommend.”
