“My son bought a new full suspension enduro bike last week. (Well new to him). I wanted to make sure it was sorted mechanically for him to ride safely. So I contacted Steve via text, with details of both his bike and mine, also a full suspension mountainbike. I do know a little about full suspension bikes but wanted professionals opinion! Steve replied very quickly on the same day (14/08/24) and he sorted out for collection of both bikes that night. We discussed what I’d like done to both bikes at the time of collection . I opted for a Level 2 service on both bikes. I informed Steve that I would like all parts replacing that needed to be. It was agreed that Steve would contact me ASAP as soon as he found something that needed replacing so that I could authorise or decline that fix, so to speak. The next day, 15/08/24, true to his word Steve contacted me with the issues he’d found so far. He was very clear about what needed doing at this point, and left the decision to go ahead with any parts needed, to me. At no time did I feel he was pressuring me into getting things done and it was all my decision to go ahead. This a a brief list of the work Steve did on my son’s bike. New dropper post. New cassette and chain. Full set of pivot linkage bearings. Headset bearings. Front wheel bearings. New bottom bracket. Not a compete list! And that not including the work done on my bike! Both bikes were ready by the following Tuesday, 20/08/24. Due to the weekend in between and having to order parts in, this was an incredibly quick and efficient turnaround, considering the large amount of work he eventually did on both bikes! (See above) We agreed a drop off of the bikes on Thursday 22/08/24, first thing in the morning as that suited both of us best. On arrival Steve talked me through all of the work he’d done on both bikes, one at a time. Both bikes now feel and ride like new! Smooth as silk and much better than I thought they would be! Steve obviously knows what he’s doing! He was professional, knowledgable and courteous throughout the whole process! Was it expensive for both bikes? Yes, but the replacing of parts was my decision totally and as previously mentioned, there was never any pressure from Steve to go ahead with some of the repairs. So now, both me and my son have two perfect bikes for when we go riding together! Would I recommend Steve and Biking Fix? That’s an absolute no brainer! Totally and utterly YES! If you want your bike sorted by one of the best…. Steve’s your man! Here’s to the next time I see you Steve! Thanks for everything! G”

The chap at the garage didn’t have to help as it was close to Christmas and he was very busy, but he did and was able to fix my car within 24 hours which included sourcing a clutch master cylinder which was fantastic. “Rang to book in for diagnostics and offered road test on the same day. Sadly, the car behaved during the test so I was left looking stupid. Advised that I needed to let the issue further develop so at least that can tell what type of issue is actually going on. They advised me that previous fluid change (elsewhere) was likely a waste of time. They quoted me the likely charge for most likely fault with my type of gearbox. They effectively turned away the work at this point because they want to know what's going on first rather than potentially waste my money and/or end up with me unhappy. They felt very approachable and honest. They didn't deny that something maybe wrong with the gearbox but they went on what they saw - just annoyed me that the car didn't fault during the road test.”

“Experience was top notch here. Car went in for major service and engine malfunction light. Service was done quick whilst keeping me updated on what needed fixing. Explained to me really well as to why I picked the right service for my car. The engine management light came back on after doing the work, so rang them and they asked me to bring it down straight away, found the root cause problem, ordered the part and was fully fixed less than 24 hours notice. P.s. I don't want it to seem like they misdiagnosed the fault, they didn't. The machine said a sensor was faulty, so they replaced that but then my car kept saying that the sensor was broken, but they quickly found a hole in the hose leading to the sensor and was fixed within 24 hours from that. Also quick shout out to Zain on the front desk, he totally gets what being customer facing is about. Great lad.”
