“The staff at the nursery are fantastic. They genuinely care and I feel completely confident leaving my daughter in their care. They come up with a good range of activities and the menu is great. The other families are friendly and it feels like a real community.”
“My child spent 3 years at bright horizons kirkstall and had no issues throughout. The staff were always pleasant, happy and nurturing. Feel very lucky to have found such a great nursery, if you’re reading this considering it as the nursery for your child, I can’t recommend enough. Thanks to everyone at bright horizons for all the love and support over the years.”
“My experience with First Class Learning has been extremely positive. Both my children have been attending the centres and had 121 tuition with Simon over the last 6 years. My children have done great in their SATS tests and recently my daughter has sat her GCSE exams. My daughter felt well prepared and supported by Simon. I would highly recommend First Class Learning. Thank you to Simon, Julie and the rest of the team!”

“The University of Leeds has become truly special to me, and I have grown to love it deeply. I completed a 40-week internship in “Leadership in Higher Education” at the Business School, and I would like to share my experience and impressions. Of course, there is so much I could say, but I’ll focus on the key highlights. At the Business School, I worked under the guidance of the academic director of the program, Dr. Sourendra Banerjee, and program director Ton Vathutala. I truly admire them—they are highly qualified professionals. Thanks to their approach, I gained a wealth of new and valuable knowledge that will be essential in my professional journey. To improve my English, I attended classes at the Language Zone, taught by wonderful instructors like Coraline Schneider and Sabina Gradeck. I particularly enjoyed their weekly sessions, “Presenting with confidence” with Slides. These classes not only helped me overcome language barriers but also developed my quick thinking, creativity, and self-confidence. This unique approach is something you rarely find elsewhere. I must also highlight the university library—it is incredibly rich in resources and very well-organized. Once you step inside, you don’t want to leave! To stay active, I regularly visited the Edge Sports Centre. It’s a clean, comfortable space where you can choose from a variety of activities to suit your interests. I also want to emphasize the excellent organization of the student residences. They are clean, comfortable, and the staff are always helpful and supportive. I stayed at Lupton Residences and had a great experience there. Another major advantage of the university is the efficiency of its email system for resolving any issues quickly and conveniently. The staff are incredibly friendly and responsive—you can’t help but wonder how they found such amazing people! :) The University of Leeds is one of the best, and I’m proud to have been a part of it!”

“My name is Leon Koworera, I am starting a construction management course with GBS in September. The staff has been very supportive during the enrolment process and even offered me a fantastic opportunity for referrals. “Though I had an unproblematic pregnancy, my labour was not a piece of cake. I had to be induced and eventually was sent to the operating theatre. I would like to thank all the midwives and doctors in the midwifery unit and hospital ward for making my labour as painless and peaceful as possible! They were so friendly and professional during all those long hours; I couldn't have dreamed of a better team by my side. I kept smiling throughout the whole process. I would also like to thank the cooks who provided us with absolutely delicious food (such a varied menu!) in the postnatal ward. If I decide to have another baby, I know where to go!”
“I studied Musical Theatre level 2 and 3 for 3 years at this college and it has helped me as a performer and person so much. You get to meet some amazing friends, and get to bond with your tutors. Definitely would recommend if you want to be challenged and build your confidence and skills.”
