I met Dr Lewis Butler for the first time back in late 2023 after making an online inquiry, which is when my journey with Advance Dental Care began. Having had pretty negative experiences with both NHS and private dentists in the past and a general fear of dental work, especially oral needles, I saw Lewis for the first time and instantly knew that I could put trust in his expertise and experience. A passionate and talented dentist, who puts customers needs before anything else and made me feel at ease throughout my journey with them, not just during treatment but now providing excellent, long term aftercare. After having some general work done, Lewis educated me on the poor overall condition of my teeth and mouth as a whole and gave me some long term options for treatment, all of which were expensive (as you can imagine for any major dental work via a private dentist). I opted for complete mouth rehabilitation, the most expensive and arduous of the options available to me. I put full faith in Lewis and Advance Dental Care and saw this as a long term investment in my oral health. Treatments began in January 2025 and all work is now completed and I could not be happier with the final results and the care I've been shown along the way. Lewis and his talented team at Advance Dental Care have been amazing. Lewis has been available to me at all hours of the day, even if just for advice or peace of mind regarding my teeth. When I had temporary teeth in during the treatment process, when any issues did arise they were dealt with extremely quickly and I constantly felt like everyone involved couldn't do enough for me. All staff members I have dealt with at any point throughout my journey have been professional and have genuinely felt valued as a customer and that my needs are put first. Shout outs to Donna (Dental Nurse) who was nothing but pleasant during all my appointments and Lauren on front-of-house, always checked in with me after my treatments and had great communications via email for the most part, which was always best for me with my busy schedule. Let me start by saying that Jo and Carmel are immensely accommodating and their place is not only clean and beautiful, but conveniently located to everything in town. Our room was spacious and stocked with all kinds of goodies. Breakfast was light and complimented with the best croissants I've ever eaten. The view from our room was outstanding. The bathroom we had was my dream bathroom complete with a giant stand alone tub and I felt like a queen the two nights we were there. My husband and I were hiking the Pennine Way and needed a couple days to recuperate from blisters and sore feet. Jo had a tub of cream she recommended and gave us hers! I can't say enough about Thorncliffe. If you're looking for a place to stay a night or two, Thorncliffe is the best option in town. Be careful though, you may want to stay forever!”

“My daughter and I had so much fun today at Cloud 9 - we can't wait to go back. I was so impressed with the service from Shelley and Kayleigh (sorry if your names are spelt incorrectly). They even made a drink for my daughter that wasn't on the menu. We didn't mind being guinea pigs and my daughter said it was incredible. They were so friendly and welcoming. The spaces available to play in are a perfect size and both my daughter and I loved the variety of areas. They have an ample sized softplay with multiple slides and tunnels and a ball pit at the end of one of the slides. It also has a mini ball pit and a few sensory areas dotted around. They also have a room filled with books, small toys, a wooden castle, mini picnic bench, trains and tracks, a piano (our favourite) and houses containing lizards and a turtle. My daughter loved watching the lizards skitter about. Plenty of seating with lots of food and drink options for little ones and grown ups too. Baby change/toilet facilities are really spacious, super clean and tidy. As I said we cannot wait to go back and take some friends with us next time. Thank you Cloud 9.”
