βPerfect service with a smile, really nice staff food amazing say hello when you come in, massive sizes and presentation is immaculate!! Definitely a place to visit again and it's only in Pontefract! Worth the prices for the sizeβ
βA good place for decent footware, at a cheaper price. They stock brand names too. Got what we needed. Staff were very helpful.β
βAs you would expect from any aldi. Very clean and no issuesβ
βCan't complain, good variety of items, well stocked. Very clean and presented well. Staff are friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking and well situated for the supermarket so buying items between the two is handy.β
βA well-stocked local Co-op conveniently located on the way to and from my place of work with a good volume of parking places. In my opinion, the store is generally visited by those wishing to get something quickly, so there are never too many people around at any one time. I call into the store when going to work in the morning to grab the odd supply, and they always have what I want.β
βThe pizza here is so good and itβs so cheap too, I always come in on my lunch and the workers and so nice and friendly!! Definitely recommendβ
βMy package was delivered here in mistake instead of York. The kindest lady has posted my package and paid for shipping out of her own pocket to send it to me. This is a lovely act of kindness. Thank you so much.β
βIn the 1970βs my Nonna had a shop like this. We called it the open all hours shop, it sold everything and had fabulous service. Itβs the same here friendly, fresh bread, coffee, post office and everything inbetween. Expert multi tasker switching it up between post office and shop to make sure everyone got served in a timely manner. Local shops like this used to be the hub of the community and this one still is. Great to have you on my doorstep.β

βI returned an item an lady was helpful an jolly ,i find that all peacocks have nice staff thank uβ
βGreat shop, cheapest in the local village. There is plenty of selection for an affordable price. Even cheaper alternatives for other brands too. The aisles are big enough to get down and easily wheelchair or pushchair accessible. The staff are friendly too. Would recommend.β
βGreat little shop, just avoid school start and finish times because ignorant parents use it as a car parkβ
βLook the shops crap U only sell the stuff the big store doesn't care about. But my complaint is I have fibromyalgia , it's a nerve disease and I was confused with the vouchers , she was getting quite mad but was done but today again similar thing I'm confused cos IV gone over my budget an tried explaining I can't help it , it's a disease an she didn't say a word just stared at me till I left. Last year aso I was surround because my mate went into the shop and her friend who I didn't know sat there, turns out he assaulted one of em , but I didn't know ... So getting interigated was scary . Bad bit over most of the staff are wonderful , some of them actually listened to me the ey are stars I have to add the owner is hiking up prices 50% on some items , example 35 p in town Tesco were 50 p in chequers now they are a pound , walk round with the Tesco app and price promise everything because the owner is praying on some of the protest people round here. Get my car soon anyone at all I will gladly take to town Tesco to avoid the monster charging it's oldest customers like slaves. Go to willow park rather than here Jem pearsonβ
βPretty cool, individual items and not in alignment of sizes , odd pieces , bag full of clothing that would cost you Β£300 would cost you Β£40β
βwent in this morning two of the staff were really nice and helpful and couldn't do enough for me. a big thank you to jelena and Paula a credit to your store.β
βCanβt recommend the cafe in this garden centre highly enough. My granddaughter never fails to clean her plate when we bring her here for lunch - the food is always freshly cooked and of the highest quality. The staff are friendly and polite - we visited today and had a toddler and a frail elderly pensioner in a wheel chair- there was no tables free on the lower floor and we thought we were going to have to try and man handle my father out of his wheel chair and onto the mezzanine - Keren came to our rescue and instantly made room for us in a more accessible spot - I canβt thank her enough she was so kind and considerate . She is a credit to her employers and I know this canβt one off as she has offered help on the past when weβve been struggling. This kind of service is the reason we make the trip regularly from Mexborough - not an easy journey but the service is worth it !!! Love the garden centre too!β
βStaff are fab will go out of their way to help and good range of clothes and accessoriesβ
βAfter recently moving in to our first home we have used the bed shop on numerous occasions for ourselves and our kids. From the in store staff to the delivery team they are very friendly and customer focused not pushy and always give you honest advice. Will always be recommending them to our friends and families.β
βPerfect little stop off garage for any necessities. Decent prices and friendly staff all year roundβ
βI've been to this Tesco when I was travelling to Leeds. The manager Frazer is the best person in this shop. He was really helpful and showed me all the things that I wanted to buy. I definitely recommend everyone to talk to him incase you'd have difficulty in finding whatever you're looking for. His customer service was spot-on. Thank you so much Frazer.β
βA great Greggs conveniently located on the high street for Pontefract that serves great food (nice and hot). Would definitely come here again for lunch!β
βIt was busy, busy but staff gave me their time to sort what I wanted, Thanks to Courtney and Ely superb members of staff, Manager should be really pleased with them both. Can't thank them enough. Good luck to Ely in his new adventure, Uni. Would recommend this store to everybody, Thanks again!β
βNice bright and airy store with a decent range of items stocked which is good considering it is a village supermarket. Lots of fresh produce and the usual tinned stuff and half decent clothing section And plenty to choose from if you want a nice bottle of something. Could maybe do with more staff on the checkouts but no major issues. Unlike the car park which desperately needs better lighting and not be relying on the mediocre effort from the faulty unit that occasionally comes on. Sort it out Co Op.β
βCan not fault them. Molly the pharmacy manager was amazing. My son is autistic and she worked really hard to keep him calm and explain what the pharmacist was going to do. I cannot thank her enough for making his experience positive.β
βGreat little shop with great choice of stock.β
