“Went down for a look because I was working in the area, besides the Great Central Way and the Aylestone Packhorse Bridge there isn’t much to chose between what was the best about being here… Then there was Kings Lock Bridge 104, Lock 38 and the Kings Lock Tearooms … I only had time for a Latte, which was absolutely perfect. I loved the staff, immediately took my order, the setting is perfect, dripping with history and all in a setting fit for… what for it… A King (or whoever it is you desire to be!)”

“Visited for a (very) early lunch. Not my first visit and certainly not my last. 不错，口味不错，服务态度也挺好的 Service was polite and efficient. We had Kung Poa chicken, potato and aubergine and spicy cucumber. All dishes were excellent and well seasoned. Dishes are turned out fast but always freshly cooked. Atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant.”

“Amazing authentic Neapolitan pizza with a great selection of craft beers. Can’t recommend this place enough – the food, the vibe, everything is spot on. The only downside is the limited time at the table, but with how busy they get, it’s totally understandable. Definitely worth a visit!”

“Update: Actually revisited with family, 5 people. Unfortunately quantity of meat was small and not good value for the cost of the meal. We spoke to the staff and they refused to give any more. Disappointed in the service. Won't be returning and reducing my rating. Amazing food, absolutely loved it! The best Doner I've ever eaten without question! Had lunch and got the Kebap and Wrap Doner. Bread was fresh, salad tasty, and the Doner an sauces were spot on. Got the chips with Harrissa which were good. Both myself and the Mrs were in agreement that we will be coming back regularly. Great service, really clean. Got free Oreo milkshake shots which tasted amazing so will be grabbing one next visit. Owner is a really nice guy and nothing was too much trouble. “I have visited Mrs Bridges Tea Rooms and the chip sandwich was satisfying comfort food experience. The sandwich offered a great crunch from the chips, which contrasted with tasty bacon and a little kick from harissa. It's perfect for when you're craving something savoury and satisfying and you're in the mood for a guilty pleasure.”

“The food here is absolutely amazing – a solid 10/10! Every dish was packed with flavor and beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly, engaging, and super nice, which made the whole experience even better. I also loved the touch of K-pop playing in the background – it really added to the atmosphere. It’s a shame that Korean cuisine isn’t as popular in the UK as it should be, but I truly hope this restaurant does well because they absolutely deserve it. Highly recommended! 감사합니다”

“Plan Burrito Loughborough. Where do I even begin? Moving here as a foodie student, I was eager to find my go-to spot for the next three years of my life. Suffice to say that Plan Burrito already has that crown. The burritos are absolutely delicious, with great portion sizes for their prices in comparison to other similar chains. The nachos and dips are fantastic with a perfect balance of sweet, salty and spicy (if you choose to get a salsa). The options for drinks are endless with more Jarritos flavours than I can count along with the classics like Pepsi Max, 7up and water. Now, the reason beyond the food for why it is the best in Loughborough is the excellent service. Today my friend and I were greeted by a lovely staff member called Abi who chatted with us the entire time, was super friendly to all other customers and made sure that our PB experience was top notch! Stephen you my GOAT keep grinding til number 100 you got this.”
