“Visited shop a couple of times looking for leather sofa and chair. No pressure whilst browsing like the big chains so that was good. Finally sold old couch so contacted Harpers and picked a couch and chair and was told we could probably have it delivered for free within a week. Actually received it within 24 hours of ordering items. You really can't beat that for service. Got a call from shop to say they would be delivering within 30 minutes so I could nip home and let them in. Two polite and respectful lads turned up and took great care whilst delivering as I had mentioned we had a new front door and they were very considerate of this. All packaging was taken away and the whole process from choosing items through to payment and delivery was spot on. would definitely recommend buying from Harpers especially how delivery was free and larger sofa companies will charge you around £100 for this. So I decided to have the 3 chests refurbished In Pilgrims Progress. Selwyn did a fantastic job, the chests of drawers look brand new and will certainly last another 25years. Thank you Selwyn, the price was very reasonable and much, much less than buying new chests of inferior quality.”

They both went out of their way to provide us with everything we needed and the most suitable furniture for our home!! “Visited furniture village Chester after a lack lustre visit to Stokers and were met by Steve who after asking us what we were looking for steered us to a beautiful corner suit that was just what we were looking for in terms of size, configuration and colour etc. didn’t rush us, made us a brew and left us to discuss privately for a while. “Nipped into the Hindley shop Thursday and ordered a bed. Very fast service. Unfortunately, no headboard. On contacting the shop in Wigan,which is head office, I realised it was totally my fault as I hadn’t actually ordered one! The service I received was brilliant and I can’t praise the gentleman enough!!! He delivered a headboard to my granddaughter later that day. Super service”

“Went to the store today to purchase some stone chippings for my garden. After managing to lift the heavy bags into a trolley, I then tried to push it to the checkout. On seeing me struggling I was approached by a member of staff who took my trolley from me and wheeled it to the checkout. Not only did he scan them for me he then offered to take them to my car and put them in my boot. He went above and beyond and I want to thank him for the service he provided. “Contacted coopers who returned my phone call and made the arrangement for Jamie to discuss and price reupholstering our tired looking dining room chairs . Jamie is courteous , polite , efficient and arrived at the times agreed we then discussed the necessary work needed to make them look like new again .
