βAlways friendly, prompt service and vets happy to discuss issuesβ
βWent on a Saturday night. They treated my dog quickly and efficiently. All was fine. They do insurance paperwork for you too which is great. I also witnessed amazing compassion from the lady on reception, I don't recall her name but she is an asset to Vets Now, they should be proud to have her.β

βExcellent private vets, when the PDSA are unable or unwilling to help. (That's even if you can get registered as a new member with PDSA) Medivet Anfield are amazing and doesn't cost an arm and a leg like most private veterinary practices. Quite the opposite, relatively cheap, comparatively and the level of care and professionalism provided is above and beyond what you would expect for a practice for the very reasonable prices they charge. I can't express how surprised I was at the level of quality of care provided for my pets. They are amazing and I would highly recommend them to any pet owner. Even over the donation and apparent charitable nature of the PDSA, I'd rather pay a little bit more and have my pets properly looked after by professionals who aren't rushing under pressure and having you wait for ages with sometimes uncertainty about the treatment you will receive. Don't get me wrong. I'm not slating the PDSA as they play a vital role for many people for different reasons. I'm just saying, in my humble opinion, if you have the choice, this vet is preferable for me 100% of the time! 5 Stars βοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβοΈβ

βSaw my dog as a same day emergency when he was unable to walk and in a lot of pain, my pets werenβt under their care at the time. My own vets wouldnβt see us for two weeks but Medivet billinge fit us in and were excellent. Have since moved both my dogs here and have seen my nervous / vet aggressive dog a couple of times as an emergency and are very patient, caring and flexible.β
βAbsolutely amazing. We were on holiday nearby to the surgery and our dog hurt her paw. Dan was able to see us straight away and helped our poor doggy. He was amazing. And now our dog has everything she needs to heal. Thank you so much Sands veterinary practiceβ
βOn my visit I saw Andrew who I usually see as I prefer continuity of care. Ruby had a lump which had been checked and had started to grow so needed further investigation before removal. Andrew referred Ruby for a CT scan and subsequently an operation. Ruby has recently had op and is in recovery stage so hopefully all will be well. Andrew us always professional, cares about his patients and provides an excellent service.β

Thank you Village Vets Crosby .β

βWe booked the private field at Lartonβs for a big group of us and unfortunately there was a mix up with times, meaning we were almost all turned away without the dogs getting a chance to play. Luckily an excellent staff member ran around and rectified the situation for us so we still got our time in the private field, really going above and beyond our expectations. Weβre all so thankful for your help today and sorry we didnβt catch your name!β
βWe have been with White Cross Vets for 8 years, 1 year at West Derby and 7 years at St Helens. We have always had exceptional service from both branches. We canβt thank White Cross Vets enough for the incredible care and compassion they gave to our beautiful boy, Salem. We found out in February he sadly had cancer and we recently lost him flying over the rainbow bridge. A special thank you to Radka. There are no words big enough to express our gratitude. From the very beginning she was gentle, kind, and so loving with Salem. It was clear she genuinely cared about him, and her empathy and warmth brought us comfort during the most heartbreaking time. She treated him like he mattered, like he was more than just a pet and that meant everything to us. Losing Salem has left a huge hole in our hearts, but we will always remember the love and dignity he was given at the end. Thank you, Radka and everyone at White Cross Vets for being there for him and for us. Weβll never forget your kindness.β
βThe best vet practice ever.. Wern Vets have always been fantastic with our animals. We have had equine, poultry, dog and cat care from Wern Vets, and all have been exemplary. So professional, efficient, kind and caring to both our animals and us, way beyond what is expected... Every part of their care has always been above and beyond. We couldn't speak more highly of them. Zoe & Kyle.β
βAbsolutely brilliant practice all the staff are so caring and wonderful. Iβve only had the best experiences here with my little Hercules! They always went above and beyond for him would highly recommend this practice to anyone!β
βVery helpful, good customer service and everyone is just very nice and helpfulβ
βI can thoroughly recommend this veterinary practice, the staff are wonderfully friendly, helpful people and everywhere is spotlessly clean. I was trying to register an older animal belonging to a homeless person, this seemed to be a big problem for another practice in the city, the receptionist was snooty so I decided to call into Borras Vets, the reception there was vastly different. Unfortunately there was a shortage of immediate appointments due the 2 consecutive bank holiday weekends so I took the first availability, however, this was not needed on the day so I cancelled and offered to pay because of the short notice but they wouldn't hear of it and assured me they would be able to fill the space time and again, which I thought was very good of them. Should I ever have a pet of my own in the future I shall definitely make this practice my first port of call.β
βVery professional and caring vet's surgery. Always very happy with the treatment provided and the advice given.β
βWe had to take my daughter hamster to be put to sleep as she had a cancer they where brilliant with her and my daughter. We have just received a card saying sorry about your lost would definitely recommend themβ
βAnimal Trust Ellesmere Port is a lifesaver. After another local emergency vet tried to pressure me into euthanising my 3-year-old cat due to high costs (Β£2000+) and a misdiagnosed blockage where the other vet had also already prepped my cat for euthanasia BEFORE I had even signed any consent forms! I brought him here for a second opinion. The team here was incredible. They were ready for us immediately, performed an ultrasound, gave IVs and medication, and confirmed there was actually NO blockage and NO stones. The bill was only around Β£220, including take-home meds. They are honest, kind, and reasonably priced. I am so grateful to have my cat home safe. I highly recommend them to anyone. The nurse that saw us when we dropped him off and picked him up was an absolute star who explained everything very thoroughly and told us that surgery wasn't necessary for our cat and so they would refund us for that fee.β
βTo everyone who helped save our Bruno today I can not thank you enough . Can I also thank all the other pet owners who had to re-book from the bottom of my heart thank you this after noon you truly are the most beautiful passionate and gifted people I have ever met in my life may god bless you all xxxβ
βWe lost our beloved Bailey on the 16th April. We finally got her Ashes, paw print, some fur and a lovely card with a beautiful verse which brought tears to ours eyes. Thankyou.β
βHappy with the way everything was explained to us about our dogs condition amd the best treatments for him , nice small friendly vets .β
βI've just registered with these vets as I was very unhappy with my previous vets (medivet, scotchbarn lane). The difference in care and helpfulness is unbelievable. From the moment i walked in, my dog was well looked after and fussed over. Receptionist were lovely and helpful and vets are very knowledgeable and caring.β
βTook my 2 year old Dwarf hamster for an emergency on the day appointment for a possible impacted cheek pouch. We saw Dr. R Davies and he spent a great deal of time examining his patient to ensure he got the correct diagnosis. He figured out it was a case of my hamster not being able to empty his pouch on his own and proceeded to empty it for him using a manual intervention. This was entirely successful much to the relief of both my hamster and myself. He also saw there was a lump on his head that I never noticed, which proved how in-depth his examination was and went through possible treatment plans. I must commend Dr Davies on his professional expertise and also the manner in which he handled my pet and myself. Also can I add how lovely the receptionist was who greeted me and put me at ease. If your hamster suffers from a possible impacted pouch too, you must ensure you get this seen to immediately by a trained professional. I highly recommend this practice for their expertise, availability and great value for money.β
