“Fabulous - I used to eat here around 17 years ago during my lads' nights out when I was younger...unusually, I happened to be driving past here tonight and decided to see how it was these days. Wonderful. Soft pitta, crisp salad, delicious chargrilled tender chicken, lovely sauce (both garlic and chilli) - I can't fault it. A+”

See below first review Been going here for god knows how long, since late 80's early 90's, and has never failed to be great food, pity not on Just Eat as sometimes don't have cash and would love to order online at times, even so highly recommended. I love hot and sour soup, but none of tried locally where i can order from even come close to Peeps, just the best”

“Always order margarita from here. Friendly staff. They deserve to have lots of custom (ordering maybe once a month for years now. Sometimes more often. (Only had 1-2 dodgy pizzas) out of about 100 orders. Never had that with any take away. We fall out with loads but stop inn has been number 1 for 3 years now probs longer. Random review a few years late but saw they didn’t have many!”

“Love love loved it here, took our 6 year old and 10 month old, warm water, very clean, no ques for rides. Only issue was slow service at the main cafe, waited 10 minutes to get served and left in the end as the 1 girl serving was not too confident and was very slow and left alone. She seemed new so should have had some support.”

“This pub has improved massively since last time I went and that was when it first opened The service was fantastic from a young blonde girl (I didn’t get her name) confident , polite and has great customer service skills The pizza was amazing too only down side it had a little too much seasoning on it but still edible One fault but it’s Holts fault not the pubs but the Diamond and Crystal lager is absolutely terrible and needs actual draught beers”

“Reasonably priced, good portion size and some of the freshest takeaway food I've had in awhile. Fresh donner meat, not old meat that has been sat in a bain marie, fresh grilled chicken and their garlic fries are a highlight. Give this place a try and you will be pleasantly surprised.”

“I've got to say Mario's is the best when it comes to pizza and kebab on the staff are an absolute delight especially Barry, he's always looked after me when I come in. Not been in for a while because money is tight and today he greeted me with a warm welcome and a massive smile, even after 2 years of not being able to come he still remembers my name. Im glad the Mario's team is part of the village and know they will certainly be around for years to come. Love you guys, thanks for looking after me and Chloe over the years”

“FINALLY! i've been looking for a place that does donner kebabs like the ones in the past, this place does them. juicy thin strips that are just like the ones i've had 10 years ago, that traditional donner kebab taste and texture. staff was friendly and food was served quickly. will deffo be here again”

“Went last night (11/12/23) with my very hungry pregnant partner and can say we was more than happy with the food. The 2 chicken kebabs, despite being regulars, were very generous, cooked to perfection and were very tasty. The salad was crunchy and fresh, and the beef burger and chips were spot on according to my dad, the cans of pop were icy cold which is always a bonus. The service was polite, friendly and very swift and they was even nice enough to throw in a free garlic bread much to my partners delight. Would highly recommend and will certainly be going back again !”

“Ordered fish, large chips, 2 sausages and a pie from here tonight with additional mushy peas and curry sauce all absolutely delicious! We was really pleased with dinner tonight, only things was the mushy peas and sadly the curry sauce were both very watery. But very friendly staff and delicious food. Will be back to order again!”

“I ordered a 14 inch pizza and double cheeseburger and chips ,the guy who served me was very accommodating,the pizza had lots of cheese and base sauce ,the burger was just next level I highly highly recommend this place as it's service ,food and ambience are unmatched in Widnes by far the best takeaway I've tried keep up the excellent service”
