“There are numerous walking trails and a fine beach. There is plenty of wildlife to keep an eye out for, especially the illusive red squirrels. Blackpool and the Tower can be seen from the beach on a clear day.”

“Go here three times a week and it's always a pleasure. All the facilities are first class and maintained to a very high standard. Very nice cafe and surrounding grounds, again maintained and cleaned to a very high standard. The membership fees are excellent value for the level of service provided. Above all can't praise the staff highly enough who really make this a great place to visit every time.”

“The Devil’s Hole blowout on the Sefton Coast is a popular sand dune feature, believed to have originated from a WWII bomb blast. The site has long been a recreational spot for locals and a scenic viewpoint for walkers in the Ravenmeols Sandhills Local Nature Reserve. Ownership of the Devil’s Hole was transferred from Sefton Council to the National Trust, ensuring its preservation and continued enjoyment by the public.”
