“Had a lovely visit to Toby Carvery on Friday the 12th. The food was great as always, but the service really stood out. Alfie, Gav and Kelsey were all brilliant — friendly, attentive and made sure everything was just right throughout our visit. “Called in for pizza the food was great and I will definitely go there again. The service could be better though it was difficult to understand what was being said and only a tiny menu on the wall which without my glasses I couldn't read. So I didn't know what was on offer to buy however luckily the pizzas I came away with were good.”

“I've been going here so long (about 12 years), that I rarely have to say what I want. The staff just nod and say "Donner naan?" I have branched out lately though, and now rotate between the naan, a donner pizza, and the Kobedha naan. I can't recommend any of them highly enough. I've tried other places, but they pale in comparison.”

“The Gehrkin king walks among us! I’m a big fan of gherkins, so when getting my sandwich I asked for extra. The man serving me, this king among men, put so many dammed gherkins in my sandwich I had an out of body experience. Best sandwich of my life, the most gherkins I’ve ever seen in my life, this legend, this artist who crafted my sandwich, I wish to thank you. My life will never be the same again! I rate the sandwich and his generosity 5000 out of 10”

“A lovely relaxing atmosphere, sat outside with coffee and a sandwich in the sun. Staff are extremely pleasant, and nothing was too much trouble. So nice to see the place open again.”

“A small little cafe, east missed on the side street. Great place would certainly recommend. well cooked breakfasts and large selection of main meals including Scouse + Chilli Con Carne. Food available to eat in or take away as some seating indoors or just outside. No parking as in centre of town. Clean tidy workspace and happy friendly staff.”
