“Second time ordering from Genos and I have to say the food has been amazing. Chicken kebab and Donner kebab with chips. The chicken was juicy, tender and sooo tasty. Donner meat was thinly sliced just how we like it and the meal portions are very generous portion. The salad was very fresh and the bread wraps and chips were lovely. We honestly couldn't fault anything. 10/10”

“Some years since I have visited this pub. Superb service from Ben the manager and the lovely Ann. Service just how it should be. Drinks are excellent at reasonable prices. We all had food. The fish and chips and the scampi and chips with mushy peas were excellent and great value for money. A great well run pub - cannot fault it. Toilets were spotlessly clean and also the Ship is really dog friendly so ideal to visit after a picturesque walk along Sankey Valley to Carr Mill dam. Will definitely be visiting again very soon.”

“They're the best Chinese takeaway in St Helens! As an Asian, I can tell the food is authentic. Shredded chilli chicken is amazing. Fried udon and fried rice are very good. They always deliver quickly, like around 30 mins.”

“Placed order over phone for collection. Food was ready super quick. Ordered Chicken Kebab box and garlic bread with cheese. The Chicken kebab box all I can say is Wow …… excellent value for money. Chicken was tasty cooked to perfection and plenty of it. The fries were hot and crisp and the salad was the freshest salad I’ve ever had from a takeaway. Pitta was wrapped separately and everything was still nice and hot when I got home. I cannot recommend this food enough , I will definitely be ordering again. Staff were all lovely and friendly. “I visited this store during my lunch break mid week and took full advantage of the £5.99 whopper meal (available through the app & ordering at a kiosk). Using the points I had accumulated I was also able to redeem 150 points for 6 chilli cheese bites. The food was fresh and served promptly, the guys (Josh & James) behind the counter very informative and friendly. The restaurant was clean and inviting, only giving 4 stars due to lack of air-conditioning.”

“Very small McDonald's, seating upstairs too, didn't see a place for napkins etc , had to ask a member of staff for some, staff were very friendly, had table service, hence the hunt for napkins, besides that it was a very pleasant place to eat,”

“I’m very fussy about pizza but needs must when you’re hungry. I ordered the American Hot Pizza, Garlic Cheese Pizza and fries. My order said it would be at least an hour however it arrived sooner than that. I was concerned that I’d just got a ‘keep warm’ pizza. I was worrying too much. The pizza was hot, well cooked and very tasty as was the garlic cheese pizza. The fries were hot and crisp. I’ll DEFINITELY be using Diego’s again. A very enjoyable meal!”

“Been a while since I was here but have used it a few times. Prices are reasonable compared to most guest houses of similar size, rooms are kept clean and there's always a good supply of tea, coffee, milk etc as well. Good access from the M6 via the M62 link to st Helens, the route brings you to the traffic lights outside (You get there via Thatto Heath so you're just round the corner at the lights. The main car park is small, maybe a bit tight for a van, but there are a few extra spaces opposite the vehicle entrance just ask. Not sure about wheelchair access, there are no lifts, this is a former residential home so I'm sure there must be some kind of access. Dining room is on the first floor and breakfast is always plentiful with a choice of cereals for self service. The full English cooked is delicious and you actually see it being cooked through the serving hatch. There's a TV in each room and some rooms look out over the busy dual carriageway to Taylor park. There's usually a few staff around in the morning but check in etc is done by 1 lovely lass who's been there pretty much since the place opened. There are cameras all round the external sections, including the entrance and car park. I would choose Park View over the main hotel in town any day, love the place.”
