Convenience in Twickenham

“I’m giving this place 5* as I believe the court cafe should be kept open. Many courts no longer have cafes and I think it’s a useful thing to have in a court. However don’t expect very good food! It’s very school dinner canteen. They will do hot drinks though and snacks, cold drinks. The staff are nice enough and there’s places to sit. Probably a lifeline for many people have a hard day in court.”

“I dropped in here for a cup of tea and a snack while waiting for my train. The gentleman was very courteous and helpful, and his service was excellent. The food and drink was brilliant. I would definitely call in again when passing through, and would recommend this place to others.”

“I've used Whitton Corner Pharmacy for years now. As a small community pharmacy, it's not easy to respond to everybody's wish for instant service or to have every possible item in stock at all times. Having worked in a pharmacy myself many years ago, I know how busy things can get, particularly during colds and flu season, and how difficult it can sometimes be when manufacturers delay production on certain drugs. I've always been treated respectfully and when purchasing non-prescription items, found their prices to be better than the high street alternatives.”

“Best service ever. Bit expensive compare to other supermarkets that's because they show case lots of other brands rather than Tesco own brand. Paid parking after 10 to 4.30 on the main road. Self service attandant which you won't see in any other Tesco . Quite busy after 5 in the evening due to trains . Staff is helpful and have knowledge of different options. Produce section is always full and lots of reduced items daily.”

“Carole is a One Stop Shop Top Notch Groomer. It’s a passion and not just a profession which shows through with the care and time she takes to groom your pooch. She soon calmed my nervous senior JR and gained her trust rather quickly. It was more than a pleasure to be able to stay and watch the magic happen. Reasonably priced, gentle friendly banter and welcomed advice thrown in for free. We will definitely be back and highly recommend.”

“I'm not a huge fan of dentists, but I think this dentist is good. I have never had a negative experience in 10+ years of being a patient there. The only drawback is that with there only being one dentist, there will be times when you just can't get an appointment. ps I was surprised to see 1* reviews. One of the 1* reviews seems implausible - the dentist, whilst testing for numbness, made cuts so bad in the gum that stitches were needed. Smells a bit fishy to me.”

“Pleasant shopping experience if you prefer not shop at a larger Sainsbury's superstore Great food and good general home produce choices. Prices are little more than other stores. Staff are pleasant and helpful”

“Visited a few weeks ago, shelves were empty, staff not happy, no manager for a while. Went in today and they look like they have a new manager who is really trying to turn the store around. More products on the shelves, happier staff. Only complaint is it's quite dark in there, brighter lights will really help to make the store more welcoming”

“I had infills and shellac gel polish done on my nails. It was an absolutely rushed job by the man as it was late and I was the last customer of the day. The shellac hasn’t even set smoothly on to my nails and looks awfully thick, scratched and lumpy. Not happy at all! My eyesight is very poor so I trusted his work and I didn’t notice how bad it really was until I woke up the following morning and saw my nails in the natural light. Pedicure on the other hand was done by a lady who did an amazing job. I love how my feet have turned out. I contacted the salon who were terribly sorry for my experience and asked me to go back. I did and they redid my nails as a gesture of good will and the transformation was incredible. I’m much more happier with my nails and they look absolutely beautiful. (You can see for yourself the before and after results). Thank you American Nails for having great customer service. I look forward to seeing you again.”
