“I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Fairway Tyres . I booked in my scooter for an MOT & all of a sudden the fuel tank & pipe broke down & leaked everywhere. The Scooter is over 20 years old . Now Fairway do not repair motorcycles however, the whole garage went above and beyond the call of duty & 7 days later I was able to ride the scooter out repaired & MOT’d . I consider myself to be very lucky to have such a nice bunch of mechanics , fitters & staff that you can trust just down the road . I recommend Fairway for all your mechanical needs & MOT’s . “Hi, was looking for a hair salon nearer to me, as I normally go to a place in Ealing . Not this time,l. I managed to get an appointment with Hallie. I’ve never been here before for a hair cut so I was a bit nervous. After having my hair washed, I met Hallie Very lovely young girl. She asked me lots of questions re the length and cut etc. initially, I was nervous but slowly I could see how knowledgeable Hallie was and this put me to ease. We had a nice conversation during my visit. I was very pleased with my end result . The length and cut and styling was great , now she will become my go to stylist . It’s very hard to find a stylist who knows what will be a good cut for a client .well done and thank you Hallie. 19/02/25 second visit here. Booked online but they couldn’t find my booking . However, they were able to fit me in . Georgia washed and styled my hair and I was pleased with the cut and style . £42. She was helpful and friendly . “So had heard about this place and thought we'd check it out. clean n tidy but a bit limited on the seating even though they have plenty in the back , so sought it out lads. Ordered 3 different style burgers, Beef, Chicken both fried and grilled. Honestly can't fault any of them. Food was full of flavour and all done very well. Presented well with good sauces too, Chips were also fresh. Good Value as My double meal was £10.50 . Have already recommended to a few people BUT have to stress that the rest of the seating needs to be sorted. Great for me and my boys BUT not something for the family till there's more sit down options.”

“Hands down the best Chinese around. We have been here several time and have ordered many takeaways. Always friendly and welcoming, food is fresh, hot and always tasty. Crispy duck one of our favourites, pan fried noodles are always ordered. Chilli beef one of my go to dishes, prawns with ginger are delicious, all of the starters are equally delicious. I fairly certain we have tried at least one of each menu item over the years.”

“This place surely isn't the biggest or most privately contained cafe in a hospital, but that really is the beauty of it. Run by volunteers, these people were wonderful to talk to, and not only to see them with the choice to dedicate this time, but simply considering how long some have lived for (e.g. age 92), and how good their health is. Onto the actual cafe! The price of food here from sandwiches to cafe drinks is the type of reasonable I am expecting and am so happy to see, when comparing to such, including the Costa in the hospital. In my opinion that includes the range of cakes, biscuits and bars too! Having my [veg] sandwhich toasted made it extra fulfilling, and the cappuccino was super! And it gets better: All profits made, go to a certain division of the hospital. More people should visit this cafe to appreciate the efforts devoted by volunteers here. Hospitals should have more affordable, lovingly run cafe's like this! Obviously that doesn't even have to be as a patient!”

“It was the first time we had Sunday lunch at the General Eliott. It had a great atmosphere and the staff are friendly. We all had the roast lamb and the meat was very tasty and had a great selection of vegetables. We will definitely be back for Sunday lunch.”

“What looks like a little hidden away spa in Uxbridge high street is actually a big spa full of exciting and very reasonable priced treatments. I had Deluxe Normal Polish Manicure, I really liked the idea of this, as it included hand scrub, massage and hot towel.. and OMG it was brilliant. I've never had this treatment on my hands before, oh my hands felt and smelt amazing. The women used some amazing oils and scrubs. My nails..wow!!! The women did such a amazing job, my nails actually look like they are false.. lovely colouring, beautifully shaped and trimmed. Despite them being short on staff, only 2 people on, they were very efficient, really friendly and fantastic at their job.”
