Exceptional experience in Uxbridge

“There was a live artist performing and we had a meal and music deal. The meal was precooked from the varied menu which aided greatly the speed of service. But there was signs of the food having sat about, it was all freshly cooked and tasty. It was a very good evening with friendly people around to chat to and a Happy atmosphere. The singer was very good too. And all at a remarkable price and value for money.”

“Had my first post 'lock down' haircut today from a young gentleman called Ryan, he did a fantastic cut and now has a new regular for as long as he's working there. The lady that owns the salon was there as well, made both my daughter and myself feel welcome from our first step inside the door until the moment we left .... will be booking both my wife and daughter in to see her as soon as she has a slot free. Cannot recommend this place enough, they also have a lash room in the building run by a lovely young lady called Donna .... unfortunately due to government restrictions the lash facilityisn't open yet, but i advise checking it out as soon as it;s back in operation. Fully deserved 5 star rating.”

Never have I left not loving my nails and getting endless compliments on them. She really is so talented, I could never go anywhere else. “This thursday we collected a takeout from Arman. It was an amazing pick me up I needed and the kids enjoyed it too. I've been meaning to do a Google review of them for ages. Its one of the regular places we go to for Indian cuisine. Ive had many meals from them and thursday nights was excellent and tasty as usual. The quality of the food is of high standard and the staff are friendly too. We didn't order any rice, we love curry with naanbread. So below are the pics and this was food for a family of 5 (3kids under 13). We ordered: Chicken tikka Chicken balti Sheek kebab Keema peas Onion bhajis garlic naan Peshawar naan Plain naan Salad and mint sauce come complimentary.”

“Always good, always on time. Always correct. I'd rather free poppadoms than a bottle of drink though! The menu is slightly different from classic Indian takeaway, but they have some great dishes you can't get elsewhere, and they'll adjust dishes on request. Try the achari...the red dish in the picture.”

“I am a real novice when it comes to woodworking and the staff here was very helpful not only with providing me with the materials I need but also gave me an advice that the plywood I was buying may not be esthetically pleasing and suggested me a better one. It's my first woodworking project so I stuck to cheaper material as I will no doubt make a mess of this but for my future projects when I get better at it I'll buy the better one. All in all it was a pleasant experience and I think this may now be my new local hardware store rather than B&Q. These guys know their stuff!”

The dining area was nice and quiet, perfect for catching up and chatting. We went for the weekday set menu (£18.50 for three courses) and honestly, every dish was way better than expected – really tasty and nicely done. For the price, it was such a great deal. Prices are a bit higher than discounters but reflect the convenience and product range. Handy spot for quick top-ups when you’re in town.”

“I use the Hillingdon food centre for their very nice butchers and for grocery shopping. Although parking space is limited, there is always a parking attendant available to help you find a parking spot.”

“This is a relatively large Lidl with a lot of excellent produce. The quality of their meat, especially the more expensive matured steaks, is excellent. One of the best things about coming here is that they make fresh bread and pastries throughout the day. Time your visit and you have a choice of the most delicious hot bread or pastries; continental style. The fruit and vegetables are fresh here. This Lidl also has special offers on items which vary from things like clothes, gadgets, tools, household items etc on Sundays and Thursdays. Best of all, the prices are cheap and the place does not break the bank. They now accept credit cards, except American Express. Finally, parking spaces are a big premium here. The car park, unfortunately, is always pretty full and this may put off some visitors.”
