“Went here last night for my husbands birthday. So glad we booked the place was pretty full. We have ordered take away from here that have been amazing but never eaten in. The food, staff and atmosphere were brilliant. They found out it was my husbands birthday ,played happy birthday song and brought out a cake with a large sparkler in it. This restaurant was so relaxing and caring we will definitely be returning.”

“We had a beautiful meal here and booked it through The Fork where we managed to get a generous discount. Staff were attentive and pleasant especially the lovely lady who made sure we had everything we needed. The serving sizes aren't as big as we're used to at other Mediterranean restaurants, but found that it was enough to satisfy the whole family, but don't expect huge portions here. They however do not disappoint in taste so everyone's still very happy and looking forward to our next visit.”

“Really good food. Came here for some dinner. Had an Italian share board for starters, lots of nice cured meats, cheese, pickles olives and such. Very nice melted cheese in the middle for dipping. Would have liked a bit more bread so I could dip the cheese. For the mains I had the sea bass. Perfectly seared and taste was wonderful. My friend had the chicken which he says was good. Overall amazing food, little pricey but I can accept it for the quality. Will happily come back again.”

“The dishes on the new menu are amazing. Choose from a variety of proteins and you can have any sauce you like with it. (The menu must have listed at least 8 sauces). "NoChicken" is also available, in addition to the usual meats and tofu. (The new menu is not on the website. However, the vast majority of the dishes on the old menu are on the new menu.) My chicken lettuce wraps were delicious - perfectly seasoned and stayed hot for quite some time. Would recommend.”

“I’ve enjoyed food and atmosphere here before but this visit was next level. The newish menu was fantastic. Salad was large, fresh and great ingredients. Beautifully decorated for Christmas and warm welcoming lit fireplaces are a huge bonus. The service was kind and professional. Tyrell did a great job taking our order. “This is my favourite local pub in Finchley Central. Friendly staff, nice atmosphere. I tried the lamb roast recently and it was good. My only suggestion is to bring the steak pie and mash back to the menu.. that was such a pub classic! I think they have the pie of the day on Tuesdays but not always. Keep up the nice work guys!”

“Staff extremely considerate with great common sense. We were a 4 and only needed a table for 45 mins maximum before a dinner arrangement. There were no tables but we were told we could use a restaurant table as along as we left within the hour (some places do not do this and it's very frustrating, makes no sense). We took the table and had some drinks and nibbles and left on time. A very warm and friendly place.”

“Excellent hotel. Not far from restaurants. The staff were very kind and helpful. Nothing too much trouble for them. There are a few steps up to the hotel. I have a mobility scooter, to bring indoors. There was an accessible lift round the back and was helped in and out of the hotel. The restaurant food was wow good. Plenty of choice for breakfast and good quality.”

“We LOVED using these boats in London. This was our preferred mode of transportation. The lines moved pretty quickly, it just depends on how early you make it there. And how late in the day it is (sometimes they would be behind schedule and have to leave early) The only negative was that the experience varied every time. Sometimes there would be a tour, and sometimes not. Overall would recommend, though. A great way to see the city.”

“I visited Eagle London recently after more than 15 years—and wow, what a great experience! It’s still such a cool, iconic venue, and I feel lucky that places like this are still around. In a time when LGBTQ+ spaces are disappearing, Eagle is more important than ever. It’s the perfect mix of cool nostalgia, good ol’ flirting, and fresh, welcoming vibes. The crowd was fun, the energy was great, and the whole night just had that special something that’s hard to find elsewhere. So glad I came back—and I’ll definitely be back again soon!”

Easily asked about vegan options and was given good suggestions so took advice on what to order. Try the aubergine tikka - I’m not a fan of aubergine but this was delicious! Busy restaurant. Worth a visit. Toilets downstairs. Probably best to book.”

“A regular pit stop when shopping in Selfridges.. Fab wine bar with a great selection of gins and cocktails. I had a lovely spicy Bloody Mary today which had a smoked jalapeño vodka, fino sherry and a spicy tomato juice.. it was delicious. I also ordered the tart of the day. Which was a mushroom tart and was delicious. Great atmosphere Friendly staff Good bar snack menu Reasonable prices. Highly recommended”

My only gripes are the tables are quite close together which meant staff and other customers often knocking into my chair. And I think the price is fairly high for the food but accept this may be down to the location and/or inflation.”

The service fee is optional if you're in a group of fewer than seven people. The food is excellent — the Asian Pork Belly Bites are my absolute favorite: sweet, crispy, and tender without being dry. The Cumberland sausage also makes a solid choice for a main course. Prices are reasonable, around \$30 per person without dessert. Overall, I definitely recommend this place. Just keep in mind that there aren't many servers, so things might be a bit slow — patience helps!”

“My first time at this restaurant and it was an excellent experience. The ambience was so comfortable yet pleasantly stimulating. The afternoon tea was nice and a straightforward procedure. The choices of tea were vast and different - the Oolong Milk Tea was my favourite, the green tea wasn't remarkable but it was standard. I think the fillings of the sandwiches were quite unique however, the bread was slightly oxidised and borderline stale. I would most definitely returning multiple times as the price per person is excellent for the standard of service. Excellent!”

“I’m hard to please when it comes to Igbo soups but Alaowerri surpassed my expectations. I ate Oha soup with poundo yam. I’ve never eaten Oha soup this good in London. Also got beef suya from here. The suya was so tasty. The food portions are huge. The guy who attended to us was warm and friendly too. I love the ambience in the restaurant as well. I’m defo revisiting.”
