“Great place in Hackney, was here for the first time. changing room inside and outside, (need 1 pound), the water is great as well as the depth! also the staff is wonderful, if something is wrong they explain everything clearly! I will definitely visit this pool again, and recommend it to friends!!!”

“This is a great playground and my children love playing here. There has been a lot added to it over the years, the new pirate ship and rocking horse are a huge hit! It is friendly for the younger children, there is a smaller climbing frame and the swings with seats for younger children/ toddlers. There are climbing frames for the older children or the more adventurous little ones! There are benches and little picnic tables scattered around. Next to the playground there is a good size basketball court which sometimes doubles up as a space to play football. On the other side of the playground there is a large outdoor paddling pool. This only opens in the summer holidays but it is very popular with the locals. It is free and mostly quite clean. The pool is cleaned once a week and it does get closed while it is being cleaned. There are male and female toilets in the building next to the paddling pool but these are only open while the pool is open. The pool is only for children, my little one wasn't keen going in on his own for the first time so I got some funny looks when I went in the pool too! The pool is very shallow and there are benches situated around the pool.”

“Swimming Nature has been absolutely brilliant for my children. Brandon at Highbury Fitness First has been teaching my 11 and almost 13 year old sons in one lesson and my just turned 4yr old in a different lesson. He’s friendly and professional and his lessons are structured very well with all 3 children understanding the skills they are working on and how to achieve their goals. Theres been a massive improvement in both their confidence and ability over a short period of time and they all look forward to their lesson each week. I would highly recommend Swimming Nature and also Brandon as a teacher.”

“I've been to an open day with my family at one of the ponds Gartenart built. It was a lovely experience - the water felt soft and clean, the pond looked clear and it felt as if the pond was just a part of the natural surroundings. There was definitely a very calming and peaceful atmosphere, which was enhanced by the log water feature. I've been to other ponds and lakes and this was by far the most memorable and enjoyable so far. The whole experience was so delightful and my kids absolutely loved it!”

“A fantastic place for you and your little one to get pool confidence. We have been coming here for over three years now, and my little ones confidence has grown so much, a total water baby! Lessons are fun and interactive with teachers making 1on1 time even in really busy classes. The facilities and changing rooms are always clean and the staff are so lovely and helpful. There is a great café with good snacks to chill out and feed after the lesson, and great to socialise with other mums with little ones the same age.”

“My children just finished their half term crash course, with Nathan as a teacher, and it was excellent! I had doubts about the length of the pool for my daughter as she is already a great swimmer but it was absolutely fine and she perfected some aspects of her swimming. “Really loved this swimming pool and classes for babies and toddlers. We took our baby there when she was 3 months and kept going until she was 2 and now we sadly moved outside London. Teachers are very gentle, the atmosfere is great, I can’t find it any faults. We will really miss it.”

“I attended the Les Mills Launch last weekend. The energy and enthusiasm of the instructors Tara, Lidiya, Dan and the rest of the crew was amazing. so lucky to have such fantastic instructors and I look forward to continuing on my fitness path with them and trying out some of the new classes. The club has undergone a refurbishment recently and new equipment is being added. Great gym, terrific instructors and really helpful gym and reception staff”

“Attended a child's birthday party event here. Was thoroughly impressed with the swimming pool, good size, clean, warm temperature, lots of floats and things for the kids to play with, excellent safety and a nice little room on the side where they cut the cake and had a little party. Overall really impressed. Oh and the grounds for the school are lovely too! Easy parking available as well.”

“Great place to sunbathe and swim on a warm day - does get v busy on peak heatwave days so I prefer to go on quieter days. Large pool with lane swimming available for the serious swimmers. Staff and lifeguards always friendly. Reasonably priced. Toilet and changing facilities reasonable and ice cream sold on site. Take change for parking.”

“We used London Essex Outdoor Living to order and install our first ever swim spa and pergola. They were very reliable, informative and helpful to fulfill our needs. Mark and Raffaele were particularly helpful, and always on hand if we had a question or a thought about the set up of our swim spa. “Purchased at a garden show at Beaulieu in June. Great deal! 3-piece corner seating; glass-topped, height-adjustable table; bench stool; reclining chair. Comfortable seat height and back-rest height (not infants school seating!). Substantial seat pads and back cushions, none of your 2" thick stuff! Good communication regarding delivery timings. Delivered as agreed, promptly and well wrapped. Absolutely delighted with it!”

“A lovely space for kids of all ages, and a really nice way to spend a few hours on these hot summer days. There’s some natural shade, a water fountain and the nearby cafe has toilets, as well as serving ice cream, food & coffee until 5pm(ish). The pool is really well maintained by volunteers. Hope we can enjoy it for years to come!”
