“Proper pub. Good atmosphere. Dog friendly. Family oriented. Kids happy. Terry and Carol are great. We were/are welcome! I want a greyhound too!...”
“I love this pub alot, great owner/bar staff, great atmosphere, old fashioned with beams n' all, fireplace, nice garden, a pool table and a jukebox. My only complaint is that there isn't a free cash machine in there because its cash only, I have to go to the local tesco just to get some out and have a drink”
“The Nepalese food is outstanding! Prepared fresh to order and bursting with amazing flavours. I don't tend to leave reviews unless I am very, very impressed. This place definitely deserves one. Every dish had unique flavours/spices and we ate up every bit.”
“Lovely little village pub on outskirts of Epping Forest. Very friendly service, nice atmosphere, Good food, we had two ploughman’s with cheddar, blue cheese and ham which were nice and fresh, two pints of Moretti all for £37 which we thought very reasonable. Good parking, plenty outside seating.”
“A very clean and accommodating hotel. Prime location. Absolutely centrally located to many of the city's attractions. Within walking distance or in some cases a 30 minute taxi ride or less to very popular areas of the city. The bar at Primo is well maintained, modern and impeccably clean. The bartender there the night we were there was a true professional. His name was Denis, and so far on our trip, he has been our favorite bartender with no close second. Drinks were spot on. He has a great personality and a great sense of humor. Bravo Park Plaza, you have gem on your hands in Denis.”
“Leo is hands down the best bartender I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the moment you walk in, he makes you feel like the most important person in the room. His charisma, professionalism, and genuine passion for mixology shine through in every cocktail he crafts. Leo has an incredible memory for faces and drink preferences—he’ll remember your favorite from weeks ago and somehow make it taste even better the next time. His recommendations are always spot-on, and he can whip up something unique and delicious even if you don’t know what you want. Beyond his skill, Leo creates an atmosphere of warmth and connection that turns an ordinary night out into something special. Whether you’re celebrating or unwinding, Leo’s service, charm, and talent make every visit unforgettable. Simply put, he’s the heart of the bar—an absolute legend behind the counter.”
“We hope our server's name was Andreas, that what the bill showed. He did outstanding job handling the restaurant with friendliness and grace. The food was amazing, wonderful flavors, textures, and presentation! Their vegan and vegetarian options will work for anyone. So much flavor in all the dishes. Thank you everyone working at the Good Neighbor restaurant!”
“Absolutely fantastic experience! This restaurant serves Greek food — the meze was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, and every member of staff was so friendly and welcoming especially the waitress elena who was kind and lovely .It’s rare to find a place that gets everything right, but this one truly does. Can’t wait to come back! Stavros the chef never disappoints”
“We had a private dinner upstairs for a group of alumni. Food was amazing, sommelier made great recommendations for wine, and the servers were so friendly. Great spot for private dining.”
“Stumbled across this wonderful place whilst on our way to a different gastropub. Glad we ended up here instead! We went for a Sunday roast with the Haddock and chips which was well made and good value. Atmosphere was cosy, though it was fully booked on Sunday we sat in the back garden which had heaters above each table. Only criticism is that we were asked to move to a different table due to a group booking midway through our meal. But otherwise everything else was fantastic!”
“My colleagues and I come to the Rose and Crown in Tooting nearly every week, and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is always warm and welcoming, and the staff are genuinely lovely, friendly, kind, and always happy to help. Their pizzas are absolutely delicious (we’ve tried most of them by now!), and the wine and cocktail selection is top-notch. The garden out back is such a nice bonus. It’s become our regular spot for a reason, highly recommend!”
“Fantastic local pub with incredible food, and an authentic ambiance. Service was fast and attentive despite being quite busy, and the steak and ale pie may have been the best I had on the trip. Looking forward to my next visit!”
“Great steak and sides, but watch out for the chimichurri as it does pack a kick if you're not ready. Enjoyed a nice bottle of red alongside my meal. Service is pleasant and the staff are very attentive. Would deffo recommend.”
“I really liked this local Turkish restaurant. Food was standard Turkish but well done. Pricing was fair. Service excellent. The reason for the 4 stars for the atmosphere was the noise level. It might just be my bad hearing, but I struggled with the conversation. I recommend this place.”
“Wedding venue We got married at the Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond on the 18th of October and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. We chose the winter wedding package, and everything from start to finish was beautifully organised. Laure was absolutely wonderful – calm, patient, and so responsive throughout the whole planning process. She explained everything clearly, gave fantastic advice, and it was lovely to have her there on the day with her calm, kind and reassuring manner. The venue looked stunning, with the room very professionally set up and the riverside location providing a beautiful backdrop. The food was exceptional – so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly the whole day ran. The fire pit, hot chocolate, and mulled wine were the perfect added touches for an autumn wedding. A huge thank you to Laure, Sherry, and the entire team at the Bingham Riverhouse for making our wedding day so special. Everything was flawless, and we’ll remember the day for years to come. Sara and Simon Galea”
“Super place and friendly staff, the sunday roast was amazing! May need to book a table as it does get quite busy! If your worried about sitting by the bar area don't be there was enough space !”
“Had a space reserved for a special birthday. The service was excellent and the staff were just as attentive. Because of the very very hot day we made the most of the garden and all had an amazing time. Thank you all for making the day special. Would recommend for all occasions!!”
“Been meaning to leave a review for a very long time, however managed to forget..probably due to the fantastic friendly service we always receive from the team. We are always welcomed with open arms and the team bend over backwards to accommodate us. I must shout out the whole team… they’re all amazing… however, Becks has served us since we first started coming here, since moving in locally, before Jason the Head Chef joined, she was the main reason for our return. Jason joined, the food has been out of this world… I would recommend the roasts - they’re delicious! The beef is served pink and the vegetables are cooked perfectly and well seasoned. It’s always a pleasure coming to visit The Black Horse and we cannot recommend it enough. Final shout out to Becks, Jason… our favourites… and of course Harry, Layla, Ben, Jess, Jack and Ollie. ❤️❤️❤️”
“This was my third visit to The Kings Head in Sevenoaks within just a couple of months, and there’s a very good reason I keep coming back. I travel all the way from Farnham, which is a 50-mile trip, but it’s absolutely worth it every time. I’d probably go further if they asked nicely. The pub has everything you’d hope for from a proper village pub. The building is beautifully traditional, full of character, and in the summer the garden is a genuinely lovely place to sit and unwind. The staff are consistently excellent, friendly, attentive, and clearly take pride in making people feel right at home. There’s also a solid selection of real ales and lagers, which never disappoints. My first visit was at the tail end of summer, when I sat in the garden for lunch and was instantly taken with the place. A couple of weeks later I returned for an evening meal and was so impressed that I decided to relocate our annual family remembrance gathering here. We came as a group of 11 for lunch on Saturday 15th November, and even though the pub was very busy, the service was faultless. Our waitress was kind, attentive, and had a great sense of humour, which is essential when dealing with our lively family. The team here didn’t flinch. Even though the pub was busy, service stayed top-notch and dishes arrived far quicker than I expected. Miracles do happen. All the dishes we ordered arrived promptly, and every one of us commented on the generous portion sizes (a rarity these days!) and the superb quality. Everything was cooked perfectly and packed with flavour. I had the cod stew with chorizo and crispy kale, which was an absolute standout — beautifully balanced and bursting with flavour, like a little firework display in a bowl. I followed it with an apple crumble and custard, which met the approval of even our most serious crumble connoisseurs. And, to top it all off, the bill was a very pleasant surprise. It’s refreshing to enjoy food and service of this standard without feeling like you’ve been mugged on the way out. The Kings Head is a place I genuinely love. Traditional, welcoming, great food, great staff, and great value. I’ll happily keep making the 50-mile journey, it’s become a firm favourite of mine.”
“Visited as an away to Barnet game. Nice, inside and rear area with love sport. Friendly staff and customers.”
“This is a cosy and welcoming pub with a lovely lit fireplace, which was great, especially coming into the dark nights! The food was SUPERB with very friendly, attentive staff. There was an Irish Folk group on and the whole atmosphere was electric. They have other things on different nights, so we will definitely be returning to this gem of a pub.”
“In Irish History, Tir na Nog was a magical land where everyone lived forever in wisdom and joy. This one is pretty decent and they have tatyos that the mythical one probably didnt. A real Irish pub. Go west!”
“Came across this lovely pub so clean. Ronnie the barmaid was very helpful and friendly. Lovely outside area and atmosphere. Even the toilets were very clean and nice. Would definitely recommend this pub. Definitely a return visit, Good selection of music in the beer garden & good people, Keep it up !!! Thank you Rachel & Ben”
“Really friendly staff. Came in for few drinks with housemates and will definitely be returning, maybe to even try the food :)”
“So delicious, great portions and flavour. Everything fresh inc the best bread. Recommend the doner and baklava, get those for lunch all the time and overall super quick service.”
“Very happy to see this place reopening its doors. Went with wife and kid for a few quick ones over the weekend and really liked the new decor and atmosphere. Staff was welcoming and very polite, and selection of drinks was wide too. Looking forward to getting back soon, and support this great local pub.”
“The owner of the pub is stunner! Caring, helpful man. +100 recommended. Come for delicious food and good for value drink prices.”
“Lovely traditional pub with rooms upstairs. Bed comfy, and relatively quiet given the location. Very handy for Thorpe park. Friendly staff at the bar and great ale selection. Will definitely stay again when back in the area”
“Lovely food, friendly staff / owner and fair prices. Perfect for me!”
“Enjoyed my breakfast here. Four or five other guests were present, so not too busy first thing on a Monday morning. My black coffee was great, although a little expensive if I'm honest. My full English was nicely presented and tasted good. Overall it was very filling. I'd certainly recommend this place if you're passing through the High St area of Tunbridge Wells.”
