“I’ve been to 90 On The Green a few times, and it’s always a great experience! The burger was juicy and delicious, and the cheesy fries were amazing. I also tried the hot dog on another visit, and it was just as good. The coffee is excellent too. The staff are always friendly and make you feel welcome. Whether you're grabbing a meal or just a coffee, 90 On The Green is a top spot. Highly recommend!”

“Great new place just opened. Italian bites & cocktails, cool decor. Pasta was home cooked & tasted great. Long Island ice tea was mixed the way it should be... About time we had a cocktail bar worth visiting.”

“Had a weekend brunch here and we absolutely loved it! this place is local to me and I couldn’t believe I’ve not been here before. It’s a cute café, decent food, very welcoming staff (they probably know half of the people who come in here as they seem to be regulars) ☺️ We enjoyed our food and the portions were generous! It’s the little things that I truly appreciate, the decor, the way the food was laid on the plate and the atmosphere in the cafe. Overall, would recommend!”

“Ho comprato una casa in Italia : Inverigo (Como, Lombardia). Allora, Il Primo Caffe ed un piacere mangiare qui. E veramente un Caffe Italiano Autentico, buonissimo espresso, tutti quanti mangia bene ogni volta, senza dubio. Amazing super friendly and genuine Italian proprietor. The young Italian “Bossman” and myself talk in Italian and his passion and love for his venue is obvious to see. I bought a Summer home in Inverigo (a province of Comi about 20 miles North of Milan in 2005) and our Family try to go on vacation there every year. Highly recommend Primo Caffe without a doubt it is the BEST COFFEE and serves a beautiful selection of Authentic Italian food, in Orpington. Caveat : it can get SUPER BUSY (which is a good sign of an excellent venue). Ciao”

“First time at this little gem & will definitely become a regular! Service & food was impeccable & couldn’t be faulted even if I tried!. At the end of our meal the chef even came out and greeted each table to ask how everything was which I thought gave such a personal touch & was very appreciated. The atmosphere & vibe was very cozy. We arrived at 6pm and didn’t leave until 9pm (even though we finished eating at about 8pm) simply because we felt so relaxed and comfortable. Thank you The Old Paparazzi - we will be back soon”

“We were a group having lunch before a funeral at the crematorium. We were welcomed so genuinely by Lou who I assume runs the pub. Gorgeous outdoor seating area and the flowers are so well looked after. Lunch was simple but delicious which suited us perfectly. I’d highly recommend here and it’s a shame we don’t live close by.”

“We had our daughter’s christening party here over the weekend and the team were absolutely amazing. A huge shout out to Amber, Rod, and George - you truly went above and beyond!! The food was fantastic — so many of our guests commented on how delicious everything was. From helping with preparations and decorating, to sorting out drinks ahead of time and even organising the music, you made sure the whole day ran seamlessly. We couldn’t recommend The Royal Oak enough for a special occasion. Thank you so so much for making our celebration so memorable! — Sarah & Tom”

“Had a fantastic Sunday roast here with my family. Martin went out of his way to settle us into a great corner table, and our waitress was brilliant with the kids — patient, warm, and genuinely accommodating. The whole team struck the perfect balance of friendly and attentive without being overbearing. Food was spot-on: generous portions, perfectly cooked roast beef, crisp potatoes, and a Yorkshire pudding the size of a crown. The riverside setting under the glass roof just sealed the deal. Couldn’t ask for a better family Sunday.”

“Solid boozer. The kind of quirky pub that you’d normally expect to find down a back alley in the City - but out in Earlsfield. Super friendly staff. Shows key sports events, including football. Doesn’t do food but has a tie up with a local, reasonably priced pizza place which delivers to the pub.”

“Our go to place for a delicious Sunday roast! Visited The Carlton Tavern many times and it never disappoints! My fav item on the menu is the sticky toffee pudding and I will always have space for dessert and order it. “Ive been to this wee local pub a few times, always friendly and good banter! Its nice to get away from the hussle an bussle of the high street of croydon tho your only just around the corner.. wee places like this are becoming very rare and in time will eventually be pushed out by other big clubs/pubs doing student nights and cheap drinks night, this pub seems to have a loyal community following and long may it last! Ill definitely be back.”

“Bar 61 reopened on 25 July under new ownership with a soft launch of a slightly limited menu. Grand opening with full menu is scheduled for 1 August. The tapas menu is now much more authentically Spanish, with tortilla being cooked to order, so you have a choice to order it soft Spanish style. The wine list starts with a much more modest £5 a glass/£20 a bottle price point for the house wines. The loos have been completely rebuilt and are clean and shiny, but are located downstairs, so still not great for accessibility.”
