“Fantastic service from Ellis Saturday night! really attentive and kind, everything you look for in a waiter :) food was yummy, is expensive but you get what you pay for! thanks again Ellis. Parking is good, you don’t need to put reg in. Also took a picture of cocktail I recommend, and the mocktail version of it. I had a mocktail this time as was driving but the cocktail version tastes the same :). I recommend the calamari for a starter, and always a steak or burger for main!”

“The menu was expansive and if you're like us and you're not sure what to order, go for the 'Feasting Menu'. It says it's for two but we could share two sets amongst 5 of us, 3 below 15 years old. The highlight for us were the vegetarian options such as the Sweet Potato & Feta Taquito. The sweet potato was baked and the insides were creamy and sweet. Topped with feta cheese, tomatoes and a mixture of sauces (I have no idea what!) and they just go so well. The Beet Tartare Tostadas was also a splendid surprise. Buttermilk Chicken Tacos and Grilled Brindisa Chorizo Quesadilla were our faves as well. Just make sure that you make reservations on their website. We were there on a Friday evening and I heard that it was an hour wait if you walk-in.”

“An unexpected gem! The pub itself has a great atmosphere and mix of punters. The restaurant sits beneath but can be ordered from upstairs in the pub as well. The food is excellent. Classic Thai menu and cooked brilliantly. We had a selection of dishes including the mixed starter, Panang curry, roast duck and broccoli. All full of flavour. Would recommend if your after some Thai food and a few drinks.”

“One of the best Thai places in London. We keep going back for more, every time we can. The food is amazing and flavourful. Love the space and the wonderful staff. Recently we went for dinner where they did a collab with “Samrub Samrub Thai” and that was one gastronomic experience. Pictures and from that day.”

“I had a wonderful lunch today at Doost & Amaci & Amichi, a delightful Persian-Italian restaurant with a unique and delicious fusion concept. I tried the Koobideh kebab with saffron rice, and it genuinely impressed me – incredibly tender, fresh, and packed with flavour. It tasted just like a homemade Persian kebab, full of authenticity and care. The outdoor courtyard seating was a lovely touch, offering a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy the meal. What stood out just as much as the food was the hospitality, the team were warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Service was smooth and professional throughout.”

“The food was 10/10. We loved it. The waiter could’ve been nicer, however. He asked us about 20 times if we wanted a drink, even though we had told him we were sticking to water the first time. Music was way too loud. Other than that, great experience. Will come again :)”

“From the gorgeous staff to food to drinks, I can't think of a better night out I've had in London in a long while. The hummus, and paneer kebab topped the food for me but nothing disappointed. The staff were friendly, chatty and professional from Joe our cocktail man who got creative with a bourbon Espresso martini to Fiona the wonderful hostess and Adri our waitress. They were full of knowledge about the food and drinks and made our experience unforgettable. Also the prices, this place is so reasonable for portion sizes sizes quality of both food and drink. “Very sweet place - straightforward food and all keenly priced. Good service. Huge menu of options and completely out of the way so lots of room. Filled with honest local folks ie delivery drivers, council workmen and labourers and all menu items are tasty and of good quality. Very friendly staff, very friendly chef / owner who makes sure a freshly ironed copy of The Sun is there each day. Very highly recommended as these good honest places are hard to come by nowadays.”

“Lovely food. Service is excellent and the staff very friendly. It is a must visit for either a quick coffee and cake or brunch/lunch. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Gluten free options available for the main menu and even sweet treats! The gluten free peanut butter blonde is delicious.”

“Well, this little gem is a must if you can find it. I don’t say this in a negative fashion, it is just not in a densely populated retail area. It sits in a neighborhood adjacent to LHR. What makes it special is its homey feel and the locals that patronize it. It is old, really old. Like 1534 old. If you love plane spotting, well you will be in Heaven as planes take of over your head. Sadly, we didn’t have time to order food but our cask conditioned ales hit the spot before our flight back home. We will be back. It is a must if you are staying the night near the airport and have some time to visit.”

“Very inviting and lovely friendly atmosphere. Decor was beautiful, newly refurbished after a fire, very uniquely done. Service was excellent and the meat feast pizza was delicious, as was the glass of red wine with it! Would definitely recommend.”

“Always love the food. The cheese selection is amazing, the pies are divine and recently I tried the liver with bacon and polished the whole thing off. The service is friendly and attentive. The pub is dog friendly. They have a nice garden for the summer and a nice fireplace for the winter.”

Perfect meat pizza with fab cheesyness and their our special tomato sauce. Dessert didn't disappoint - generous portion of sticky toffee pudding with lashings of butterscotch sauce and ice cream. “An excellent Sunday lunch at The White Swan. Not that many tables, so we'd reserved for 3x in advance, but just a few days before. The weekend before Christnas, so we were pleased to be fitted in. A lovely table right by the bar, immediately friendly service, a drink for me, whilst waiting for the rest of the party. The Sunday roasts were excellent, great pudding as well. “The Norbiton in (funnily enough) Norbiton, east of Kingston. A lovely, shabby chic, corner pub with high ceilings and a very open family feel to it. A large dining area and a huge patio garden at the back of the house. Lovely staff with a good sense of humour. They are fast, efficient and friendly. A super, different place to visit, enjoy a drink and some simple pizza oriented dining. A most enjoyable visit, highly recommended.”

“We came down here tonight, and had the tasting menu from the new chef, it was absolutely superb , second to none, hospitality from Joanna and her crew was out of this world. Do yourself a favour and get yourself down here this is the “Best pub food not only in Borehamwood, but in the whole area, if not, the world” The whole vibe of the place has changed since Joanna and her team have taken over this lovely old pub.”

“Came here for a work Christmas meal, and we couldn't have been happier. The food was amazing and they catered superbly to vegan and gluten-free diets. The food was also great value for money, and the extra touches such as sorbet and a welcome drink were really appreciated. “Family birthday celebration. My choice pork belly was possibly the best I have had. We were all extremely happy with our meals. Also two good ales to choose from. Service was very good although we had to wait a while to order due to it being a busy Sunday. Staff were very helpful and attentive. With drinks it was about £42 per person. We could of spent less but chose not to on this occasion.”
