“Simply cannot beat this place. The pub is great with a brilliant atmosphere. We went for Sunday lunch and I can honestly say that it was the best roast I have had out in London. There is a reason you need to book in advance on a Sunday as it simply is great food.”

“Rising Sun - Google For a long time this hidden gem was a secret for those on the know. It is difficult to get to and unfindable on TA. It used to be busy when Peter ran it but since he passed away his wife, Michelle, and daughter, Rachel, manage it as a quaint old skool country pub with real ales and ice cream with packaged bar snacks available too. Since Michelle's cohort was affected by the rise in retirement age she is due for her pension in 2026. Until then she has to make ends meet and is finding it hard in this economic climate with fewer patrons. This pub is well worth making the effort to visit. Just come for the atmosphere inside, garden outside and the occasional folk gigs. It keeps on disappearing on TA despite my reviewing it a few times before! It also gets confused with other (much more chic, expensive and flashy) pubs locally and I have reported the misplaced photos. Just go with your loved ones or friends. You will not be disappointed. Cycle or drive there. The boxed Westerham Ales are good though so mind the units. Look out for the rare chicken and cow breeds too!”

“This was our first time at an Everyman cinema, to be honest I didn't realize that what it was, I would have definitely been to see more movies during my two years living in the UK! The lounge area was a fabulous place to enjoy a beverage while waiting for our film to start. The theater itself was so comfortable and very clean. The staff was friendly and attentive we only had popcorn to eat and it was delicious. We saw the F1 movie and ironically I sat in seat F1. We will definitely visit again when next in the area. All in all a perfect way to spend a rainy afternoon in London.”

“The theatre has seats with lots of leg space and no need to make room for people walking in front of you. The members area is really nice. The roof top tables have a fantastic view of London. There are bars and cafes and it is the best cinema in town.”

“A big and luxury cinema, with big screens, very comfortable reclining seatings, nice interior design, wide selections of snacks and drinks, clean toilets, etc. You can book via online or via Odeon App, very easy, and sometimes they give discounts. You can also refund the ticket via Odeon App (full refund minus the booking fee). Parking is free for up to 5 hours.”

“It's a cozy and stylish theatre. When I first arrived, I thought I might be in the wrong place because it looks like a bar. The cinema is downstairs, with a bar on the ground floor where you can grab a beer or wine while waiting for your film. I watched Inside Out 2 on a weekday night, and it wasn’t crowded at all. The staff were friendly, and the whole experience was fantastic.”

“This is the cinema that is featured on the classic railway newsreels. John Huntley introduced the film's both steam and modern traction. These were produced by video 125 back in 1994. It is a good way of preserving social history of that time by featuring such a lovely cinema. We really enjoy watching these films showing a traditional cinema”

From the moment we walked in, it felt more like entering a boutique lounge than a typical cinema — plush seating, mood lighting, and a vibe that was perfect for settling in and enjoying the race. The screening room was immaculate, stylish, and so comfortable — the perfect setup for watching high-octane action in true luxury. The sound and picture quality were top-notch, and it genuinely felt like we were in the heart of the Grand Prix. A special mention must go to Marisa and Loria, who made our visit truly exceptional. Her warmth, attentiveness, and attention to detail stood out immediately. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. It's rare to see such genuine hospitality — she turned a great experience into an unforgettable one. If you're thinking about watching F1, a new release, or even just grabbing a drink in a fantastic setting, Everyman should be your go-to. We'll definitely be back. Bravo to the whole team!”

“The setting is beautiful but worth noting that the more expensive set menu diners go up stairs and a la carte diners stay downstairs. However it is much better value and the food was delicious. I was a bit wary as it has to be pre ordered but it was cooked to perfection. The other bonus is you keep the table for the interval so I’ll do this every time now.”

“Great little place in the heart of Uxbridge. Great menu and great vibe. Really enjoyed my time here and was pleased with the food service and quality. I ordered a mix of tapas food they had added newly on their menu. Everything was very delicious. Couldn’t fault it. My brother and sister and niece all enjoyed their food too.
