“Rooms are clean, service is good at the bar and reception. Only problem is the location. You've got Holywood bowl, a cinema and a McDonald's all close by. No pubs close by for the drinkers out there. The bar downstairs gets quite busy though. 24h too. Same as the McDonald's across the car park.”

“I have to say a massive thank you to the staff. I was staying there on Friday 31st Oct, but on the way there, literally at the roundabout, I was involved in a car accident where my car was deemed a right off. The staff were brilliant, they've allowed my car to stay in the carpark until it can be recovered, they gave us an extended check out time (3pm), so that a courtesy car could be dropped off to me, they also allowed me to store my car bits (I had to empty the car) in reception. They honestly went above and beyond, which I'm so grateful for.”

“No exaggeration, Diana and Colin were the absolute BEST hosts, they went above and beyond for us in every sense, she even dropped in some homemade apple cake (from apples in the garden!!!) to welcome us on our first morning, it was so cute I almost cried (see pic). Easiest check in, ideal location, BEAUTIFUL garden, clean and comfy room with everything you need (including the best shower I’ve ever had in my life) and like I said the best hosts to make you feel welcome- 100% will be recommending/staying again (and staying friends with them too) ❤️”

“Centrally located hotel within walking distance to amenities and entertainment. On check in, Kate was extremely helpful with local knowledge and hidden gems which were a must-see. I have a chronic health condition which requires walking aids, although my request about having a ground floor centrally located room, wasn't actioned. Kate was able to resolve this without any fan fair. In a world of automation and AI, it was lovely to have a personal touch. Kate is friendly, personable and a downright delight. I would stay at this particular branch again, mainly due to the staff and customer service. Thank you, Kate and Have a Happy New Year ”

“Amazing stay at Premier Inn Watford Croxley Green! Had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The staff were super friendly and helpful — especially Faisal Shaikh, who went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The room was spotless, the bed was incredibly comfy, and the location was perfect for everything we needed. Breakfast was delicious with a good range of options, and service was always with a smile. Really appreciated the calm, quiet atmosphere throughout the hotel — made for such a relaxing stay. My only suggestion would be to install proper air conditioning. It was around 35°C during our visit, and the room got quite hot, especially at night. Everything was great, but a proper A/C would’ve made it perfect. Still giving it 5 stars though, because everything else was genuinely brilliant. Would happily stay again!”

“Lovely hotel which was perfectly situated! 15 min drive from st Albans which was lovely to explore with a stunning cathedral. And 15 min drive the other way to Harry potter world!! So perfect for us, friendly staff with full use of pool, sauna and steam room so that was a huge plus. Rooms were simple but had everything required. Food was lovely at the hotel and something that made me super happy was when asked for a take out box, They had these biodegradable boxes (instead of the standard plastic tubs) and paper straws! ✌ so big shout out for that.”

“Had a lovely stay at Premier Inn South Mimms! The staff were friendly, professional, and always happy to help. The room was spotless, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a relaxing stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the location is convenient with easy access to the motorway. Definitely one of the better Premier Inns I’ve stayed at highly recommend!”

“We stayed at The Columbia from Sept 18-21 and enjoyed your property very much. Fantastic location in London with great walking paths including Kensington Park across the road. The room & breakfasts were very good. A big shout out to Thainara (not sure of the spelling) a young lady on the front desk who helped us tremendously with directions and options in getting around to places. Very nice personality with a smile!”

“Stayed here in August for a trip to Hever Castle - stayed 2 nights and we were very happy with this hotel. Lovely comfortable bed, great grounds for people watching :), great location, such friendly and helpful staff, a credit to the company. “Wonderful, the perfect experience! Anita, Matthew and all the other staff made our Sunday lunch so special, thanks again! In September I visited with my two great friends, one of whom was was celebrating her engagement. The staff were fabulous, food was delicious, and the setting was gorgeous. If you want a stunning place to relax whilst appreciating nature, this is it. We loved the decor, subtle colours and ambience. Well done Birch! We will return.”

“I checked in on Thursday 2nd November 2017, the check in was very quick and the male receptionist was very pleasant and most helpful, I found the same when checking out on Thursday 9th November 2017. The double room was very clean indeed ( decoration, carpets and most importantly the bed sheets, the bed was very comfortable too ). The bathroom was sparkling and housekeeping staff were very helpful from day one. The freshly cooked breakfast was excellent as was the service, the staff were a credit to Arran Guest House. The Guest House was very convenient to all public transport ( Mainline station and several bus routes ). I enjoyed my stay and could find no faults with the service of the excellent staff, so much so, I intend to return early in the new year. ( It is my pleasure to award Arran Guest House 10 out of 10 for the excellent service from all the staff including how they maintained the internal and external of this lovely property )”

“I loved this place. Room was huge. Bed was comfy. Bathroom was great. Breakfast was an unexpected bonus. Only down side is no bar or restaurant but there are loads literally next door and free parking over the road, at the weekend.”

“The rooms were clean and bathrooms were clean. Just a reminder that there is no AC only a opened window and a fan. As most of the older hotels like this do not , only new hotels. We were here in August weather was ok. The service was horrible. When we checked in the woman said someone would help us with the luggage as we were on the 4th floor seems like the attic of house. When we went back the gentleman said he was available at 7pm and he was checking people in. There was only one couple in the office and someone else was doing the checking in. He just went back to the office and sat there when it would have taken a few minutes to help us. When we checked out the same thing no one available. Also, in the pic it shows a coffee shop next door. Its not there and they need to take that down. This place is more for young backpackers traveling for one or 2 days. I know better for next time.”

“I stayed in room 606 on Friday 5th December 2025. I arrived late. The night staff were very nice, polite and informative and the morning staff were equally as gracious. The room was very clean and tidy, a bit chilly but soon warmed up after I turned the heating up. Breakfast was vast and delicious and the cafe was clean and tidy. Parking was free, as long as you key in your reg. If you arrive late remember to key in for 2 days if staying for 1 night. I would recommend the stay.”

“Very comfortable room and specially bed. And room is nearby to Wilesden Junction train stations. In the night, just there may be loud noises around the room. Except this, room and staff very simple, accessible and comfortable. Finally, videos is very helpful to us for find a place and check in/out. Thank you!”

Rooms fairly clean although I feel a little more attention could be given to the bathroom cleanliness / repairs as quite a few surfaces and the floor were stained / dirty”

The only small issue I have was I prefer stronger water pressure in the shower and a way to turn on the bathroom extraction. 5/5 well done to staff.”

“My wife & daughter stayed here, for the weekend. It's close to all amenities & comfortably central to all connections of where they needed to go. They would have stayed with family who live in the area but as it's a rented property with two others, who own it. It would have been cramped. All in all they had a nice stay, very clean, tidy, and the staff were friendly to. Great selection of breakfast. Will definitely stay again. Thankyou”
