“We were a party of four for a Friday night dinner in this surprisingly big pub! The staff were brilliant at getting us seated, we had booked but the pub was heaving with punters! After being quickly settled, we were given menus and ordered pre-dinner drinks that quickly appeared on out table. Our orders were efficiently taken with advice being sought, and given, on various dishes by the waiter. The food proved to be very good, and the wine, both the red and the white were excellent, and not so expensive for the quality! It is a great venue for dinner, however, given its size there was a constant loud volume of noise, and I am not sure if I'd go again unless it was less quiet of an evening during the week.”

“I would 100% recommend these rooms wholeheartedly. They were beautiful! ( 2 rooms booked) including a family room for 4. Spotlessly clean, large beautiful rooms with far more provided than we expected.m, inc tea and coffee tray nice soaps etc. Lovely location with ample parking. Even the sheets were luxurious. Also access to an ironing board snd iron, which came in very handy. We arrived late, and the owner came out to make sure we were sorted. Honestly can't praise enough, thank you!”

“I used to hang out here a bit with family and friends in my tweens, teens and twenties; when you lived in Hillingdon in the 70's and 80's, a visit to Denham offered you a window on a beautiful 'other' world! The Falcon is still a great place to drink, and, sitting on the Green outside, with a glass of wine on a sunny day was just about perfect.”

“We originally booked for one night but we were so impressed with the hotel we changed our plans and stayed for 3 nights. The rooms were furnished to an exceptionally high standard, the bed felt luxurious, the shower powerful and the staff were brilliant. The breakfast was excellent. The location is perfect for walking the Thames path or just visiting nearby sites. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed in.”

She was welcoming and friendly and would go out of her way! Please say hello to her when you go in. A credit to the hotel. :)”

“My wife and I loved our Sunday night stay at the Mitre Hotel. What did we like? Wonderful situation on the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. Complimentary and generous glass of wine on arrival. Large, comfortable and quiet room - we were upgraded to The Royal Mews (many thanks for that) - with complimentary coffee, biscuits etc. Excellent breakfast buffet taken in the lovely round room with wonderful views of the Thames. Settle in Sunday is a really great deal. Would we stay at The Mitre again? Like a shot!”

“We stayed here for seven nights during the second week of Wimbledon. The hotel is fun and festive, it is a pub, so it is Lively downstairs, but the festivities always ended by midnight. All the people working there were super nice, and the food that we ordered was great. Would definitely stay there again.”

“We had a wonderful stay at the Lansbury Heritage Hotel for 7 nights. The facilities were excellent, well maintained, and very comfortable. The location is also ideal, with great connections to public transport and a pleasant surrounding area. What truly made the difference, however, was the outstanding hospitality of the staff. They were exceptionally kind, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay, making us feel at home from the very first moment. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London – not only for its quality and convenience, but above all for the genuine warmth of its team. Without a doubt, we will be returning!”

“I recently stayed at Holiday Inn Express Hemel Hempstead, and it was a great experience. The check-in process was quick and smooth, and the staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with everything I needed for a relaxing night. I especially appreciated the free breakfast in the morning — it had a nice variety and was a great start to the day. The location is very convenient, close to local shops and restaurants, and there’s plenty of parking available. Overall, I’d highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and hassle-free stay.”

“I thought this place was a really good find! Located opposite the hospital, 10-15 walk from Guildford centre. I stayed in a single room, as I just needed somewhere to put my stuff overnight. The room is a standard single room size enough for a single bed, hanging space for clothes and a small desk and chair. . They provided tea and coffee making facilities, a hairdryer and a robe. The robe was needed as I had a shower room to myself, but was located down the hall (also remember to fetch slippers) Luckily though, it was very quiet when I stayed and only saw one other guest. The hotel itself is clean, nicely decorated with nice fittings. The shower room was a bit small, but couldn’t fault the power shower! Again lovely and clean. The room was also well presented and good value for money. The lady at reception was really welcoming and friendly. Also to note the doors don’t lock by themselves so make sure to take your key with you and lock doors behind you when you leave your room. I didn’t have food here, as my stay was really short but the menu seemed nice. Overall a pleasant stay and great value for money!”

“Happy to found this nice hotel in the Camden Town area. I had made a bad experience with London’s hotels before and done a big research before came across this lovely hotel. I booked a small room with a shared bathroom as I stayed one night only and needed a clean and comfortable place to stay not so far away from the city center. My room was clean, I found many useful things there, like tea pot, milk (also oat milk) bottle of water, coffee, hair dryer, slipper et cetera. Shared bathroom was clean too. Bus station is located right in the front of the hotel, bus 29 brought me to the center(Piccadilly)in 20 minutes, so convenient. I also meet one friendly black cat, who liked to spend some time with the guests on the second floor. Good hotel, can only recommend it and will stay there again when visit London next time.”

“This pub looks quite tacky from the outside, but inside is a different experience. The smaller front bar area is great for drinks and chatting. The back bar area has screens for sports, dining tables, and an open kitchen area. Staff are pleasant and helpful. Hotel rooms are also good, but you typically need to book well in advance.”

“We were walking the Thames path and stayed in this hotel when we visited Windsor. The service was excellent. The gentleman who served us in the restaurant was the standout experience during our stay. The breakfast was excellent and the location perfect. The bed was very comfortable, the shower powerful and the room was clean. If I have any criticism, it’s that the decor is looking tired and in need of some improvement. That said I gladly stay at thd hotel again.”

“I always enjoy this characterful, charming pub, and on my latest occasion was delighted to find the presence of two new pub cats, black, and apparently siblings, about 9 months old! The pub is intriguing as has portraits everywhere, interesting decor, and certainly its own atmosphere. I always like chatting to the staff, and on this occasion my visit cheered me up during a bad time. They have some cask ales, nice wines, and an appetising menu at fair prices. I look forward to my next vist to this lovely old boozer.”
