“You rarely get disappointed by Hawksmoor in London. The spot in Canary Wharf respects that. Atmosphere is great while “boarding” the barge. We took the Sunday roast option with our choice of cuts and I have to say that both 1kg cuts were amazing. Meat was so tender and tasty. Béarnaise and pepper sauces were the cherry on the cake. The pudding is very perfectible despite the good gravy served with but all the rest was perfect. I recommend! It’s not cheap but quality does not disappoint. There is also good wines menu. We took a bloody marry and Chianti to pair with our lunch and both were good complements!”

“Absolutely delicious food, great hidden gem if you are in the area. Fried Gerkins and chicken wings to start and the chicken bacon and waffles for main which has a jerk and maple sauce. Would thoroughly reccomend. Really friendly service and we felt very looked after. Will certainly return when next in the area, thank you!”

“Popped in last night for dinner with friends. Lovely location with plenty of parking. Bar staff were lovely, big smiles and kind and courteous at all times. Food was classic pub fare but done very well. My brie burger was superbly cooked and the risotto is to be recommended also. “An excellent Sunday lunch at The White Swan. Not that many tables, so we'd reserved for 3x in advance, but just a few days before. The weekend before Christnas, so we were pleased to be fitted in. A lovely table right by the bar, immediately friendly service, a drink for me, whilst waiting for the rest of the party. The Sunday roasts were excellent, great pudding as well. “Family birthday celebration. My choice pork belly was possibly the best I have had. We were all extremely happy with our meals. Also two good ales to choose from. Service was very good although we had to wait a while to order due to it being a busy Sunday. Staff were very helpful and attentive. With drinks it was about £42 per person. We could of spent less but chose not to on this occasion.”

“The King’s Arms, tucked behind Guy’s Hospital, is the sort of place London keeps half-hidden, as if to test whether you really meant to find it. It does not lean on a station concourse or spill directly onto the roar of London Bridge; instead it sits a step or two back from the main artery, watching the traffic of stretchers, students and office workers go by with the air of a veteran actor who has seen several casts come and go. I went in with the usual city-man’s impatience. There was a train to be caught at some point, a message unanswered, and I asked for a Guinness with that foolish little phrase, “as quick as you can.” The barman, seasoned in the quiet wars between haste and habit, was unmoved. He pulled the stout with deliberate care, set it down to settle, and let the dark column slowly resolve into black and cream while the room hummed around us. Only when the timing was exactly right—some private calculation of his own—did he top it off and send it my way. In that small refusal to be rushed there was something almost old-fashioned, as though the pub itself were insisting that certain standards, like certain feelings, cannot be short-cut. There is history steeped into its woodwork—fervent, if you care to listen. Porters and surgeons from Guy’s have been fortifying their nerves here for generations: housemen fresh from the wards, nurses in borrowed minutes, students whispering over examination results. Before them, one imagines river men and clerks from the old London Bridge markets, all seeking a brief amnesty from the city’s demands. The décor changes, the cocktails improve, but the essential function remains curiously constant: a place where paths cross, old friends reappear as if summoned, and London itself seems, for an hour, almost human. The King’s Arms may be in one of the most connected corners of the capital, but inside, over a pint poured with proper patience, you have the distinct sense that you are allowed—just briefly—not to be going anywhere at all.”

“Wedding venue We got married at the Bingham Riverhouse in Richmond on the 18th of October and couldn’t have wished for a more perfect day. We chose the winter wedding package, and everything from start to finish was beautifully organised. Laure was absolutely wonderful – calm, patient, and so responsive throughout the whole planning process. She explained everything clearly, gave fantastic advice, and it was lovely to have her there on the day with her calm, kind and reassuring manner. The venue looked stunning, with the room very professionally set up and the riverside location providing a beautiful backdrop. The food was exceptional – so many of our guests commented on how delicious it was and how smoothly the whole day ran. The fire pit, hot chocolate, and mulled wine were the perfect added touches for an autumn wedding. A huge thank you to Laure, Sherry, and the entire team at the Bingham Riverhouse for making our wedding day so special. Everything was flawless, and we’ll remember the day for years to come. “A very good club. I've done multiple courses here. Every time I've been here, the staff, both instructors and general staff, are incredibly supportive and kind. The sailing area is huge which is great because no matter how much is going on, there is always space for you to sail. The winds you find at QM are also pretty good!”

“I've recently joined The Club At County Hall and it was a superb idea. The team is warm and friendly and the facilities well kept. I mainly use the swimming pool which is fantastic seeing the size. “We held a wake at the pub before it opened at 3.00pm. It was an excellent venue with first class food and service. Arun made sure our requirements were met for the day in question and nothing was too much trouble. Once the pub opened we had a large quiet area reserved for us to one side of the pub for those that needed to stay longer. Well recommended for any private gathering or event.”

“We were walking along the riverfront and looking for a place to have a few drinks. None of the usual bars caught our eye, but the cocktail mene here did, so we went in. I have had the burgers before, and they are delicious, but I was pleasantly surprised by the cocktails too. The vibe and atmosphere was great too! Not just a good burger joint;)”

“We enjoyed the experience at OXO for my husband's birthday. I looked for numerous rooftop places that would also cater to a 2 year old. Luckily OXO was one of the only ones that seemed to have a Kids menu. Our server Ali made the experience all the more memorable. He was friendly and available when we needed anything for my son. The food was wonderful, and the cocktails were also worth it. On a balmy day in London it was really worth the visit. Loved the meal we ordered. Limited options for vegetarians but for fish lovers and meat lovers food was great, however it is pricey.”

“Came here for dinner. Service was quick, and the food was served fresh. I ordered the duck and rice combo — it made me think life is worth living. The duck was tender, soft and very tasty, probably the best I’ve ever had! The portion was generous (enough for two meals for me). I also ordered the mango green tea with homemade grass jelly — it was very refreshing after a long day.”
