“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Reliable and refined Chinese dining near Canary Wharf Visited China Palace could walk in and were seated without any issues. The restaurant is spacious and well-organised, making it an easy choice even for walk-ins. We ordered a great selection of dishes, including three-combination rice, xiao long bao (so good we ordered them twice), pan-fried pork and vegetable buns, rice noodle rolls, chive dumplings, Singapore fried vermicelli, Thai-style boneless chicken feet, egg tarts, and silken tofu pudding. Everything arrived promptly and was consistently well-prepared, with clean flavours and good balance. The xiao long bao stood out with delicate wrappers and plenty of soup, while the Singapore noodles had excellent wok hei without being overpowering. Desserts were light and refreshing, rounding off the meal nicely. Service was efficient and attentive, and the location is very convenient—just one stop from Canary Wharf on the Elizabeth Line. Overall, China Palace is a dependable option for quality Chinese food in London, whether for a casual meal or a group gathering. No reservation needed, and definitely worth a visit.”

“We arrived around 5:30 p.m. on Thursday August 21 and left Sunday morning (August 24) to attend the international convention of Jehovah's Witnesses at Twickenham Stadium. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and were immediately put at ease by the friendly staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable. Bed linen and towels were clean every day of our 3-day stay. There was a fridge in our room, which was a thoughtful and unexpected additional facility which made our stay all the more manageable. TV and Wi-Fi were also available (although not widely necessary in the circumstances). Staff encouraged us to help ourselves to all of the available cereals, fruit, tea, coffee, etc. and were prepared to cook breakfast to enable a prompt start to your day. Our wedding anniversary was on the Friday and was enhanced in no small part by the kindness of all at the Heathrow Palace. Thank you guys!”

“Fantastic dining experience at JRC Global Buffet! The variety of food was incredible from sushi and Asian dishes to authentic Indian curries, Mediterranean grills, and delicious desserts. Everything was well-prepared, hot, and constantly replenished. Whenever I got to buffet I always get the same thing, Chinese food. The vermicelli noodles here were amazing as well as the sweet and sour chicken and sweet chilli crispy shredded beef. I managed to go through 2 big plates and 1 small bowl. It was amazing, I even think back to it and wish I ate more. The desserts were actually nice, my favourite was the chocolate cake it was better than their other branch (I can’t remember where it was) that I went to. However I recommend they cover the food because as I was leaving the place I saw a fly land on one of the foods. The staff were welcoming, attentive, and quick to clear plates, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Great atmosphere too, perfect for family meals or celebrations. Excellent value for money and I’ll definitely be coming back. I didn’t get much pictures because I was too busy eating but I loved the aesthetics especially the purple light as you walked in. I really wish I got my picture of inside the restaurant. It was very spacious. I definitely recommend.”

I’ve been to other places that charge a lot for pancakes or french toast and did not live up to the hype. Joan’s did a great job. The only thing I would say is that the french toast was a bit dry. The 2 rooms were situated close together as we had requested during the booking. Additionally, the hotel's location provides easy access to the train station for commuting to London, which is great.
