“I went to this place in July to try on a shirt and I was served by a horrible woman, I think she was the manager from what I gathered as she was talking down to her colleagues etc. I was asking about the returns policy because I wanted to see how it would like with my suit at home and she said I couldn’t return it? So I left the shirt and she was so rude about it, to the point where she started ignoring me! then thought ahhh I won’t go back there again but then gave it another try on Friday just gone as I was in a last minute panic so it was my last resort and Martin was a godsend, he was so accommodating, he essentially created a fashion montage for me and my two friends which really made the whole experience so fun! He could see I was struggling with making a decision and kept the store open for a bit longer just so I didn’t feel under pressure. I think all stores need a Martin, he turned a negative experience into such a positive one! Managed to get my tux in time, the store managed to send it for alterations and get it back to us a day earlier than expected!”

“For me, one of the reasons that retail is fading is due to retailers neglecting the user / customer experience. Prestigious retailers, Harrods, Selfridges etc., get this right. There's also a huge focus on UX / UI on-line, but not often in retail. My experience today was different. Greated really well by the staff, and taken care of brilliantly by Jem. “Went into Hotters at Kingston on Thames on Saturday 23rd November 2024 and was greeted by a really wonderful young lady called Imogen. I explained how I suffer with swollen feet and ankles and am unable to wear the many pairs of hotter shoes and boots I own. She listened to my needs and went above and beyond in helping me. She was empathic, caring, genuine and nothing was too much trouble. This member of staff is an absolute credit to Hotters, the service and trouble she took was exemplary. She sold me 1 pair of boots and I also ordered another pair in black. My feet aren't cold, I'm comfortable and I had a very touching experience with an absolutely amazing member of staff. “My daughter had her ear lobes pierced today and the staff here made her feel so special. When we arrived Rose explained the process really well in a non-scary way, she was really friendly and so easy to chat to. Amy pierced my daughter’s ears and she was clam, patient and just lovely. We received lots of advice on cleaning the piercings and when we left my daughter was given a bravery certificate and stickers. I would definitely recommend and we will be coming back!”

“Placed in a very good location. A large, a nice variety of clothes and home articles. Prices are decent for clothes as for home articles. The shop is well divided and is easy to access to all the areas. Direction signs are visible and easy to follow. Staff is very helpful, shame that sometimes are under staff, as far as I have noticed. It is a shop that I will definitely go back for my shopping. Love the wood stears.”

“My friend was not feeling well and fainted in the store and the staff were so helpful. Specifically Jameel, Selena and Maria who work in H&M. They were kind and thoughtful, keeping her company and ensuring that she was safe. You have a wonderful team that are doing a great job! Also the bentall centre staff Chelsea and Jordan were incredibly helpful. She is doing much better now and we appreciate all of the assistance.”

“Looking for a specific hat for my daughter; Suzanna was extremely helpful by going above and beyond. Firstly went to check the back, but could not find. She then returned to find out if we could locate the reference number. Once found, she went back to check the stock and managed to find the hat I was after. I feel this level of service is exceptional as after the first time going to check, most would give bad news and give up, however, I really felt that Suzanna wanted to find this hat for me, so I left the store feeling compelled to write this review :)”
