“Out and about in Manchester with Albrecht. Have not been in this non real ale pub in many years but fancied a pint of Guinness. A very good choice. Albrecht had a pint of Estrella. £12.20 for the two pints. A one room pub taken back to the bare brick. A small rear outdoor area. Impressive spirit collection. Very friendly staff. The toucan murals take me back 60 years; we had metal trays with the Guinness toucans when I was a lad. ( sister still has them!) They do have live music. Pipped music was pretty damn good.”

“Me and my wife enjoyed our meal here. It's a ribs or burger place really. With great offers on different nights like a jug of beer and ribs 4 2 for £20 on Wednesdays. Very retro and well lated out. It's got outdoor seating if you Wana be on the street on a hot day.”

“A Great Pint of Guinness. And other Beerrs wines and Sprits. Bar snacks available. Fabulous Chippy to the side of the pub the Olympimas where you can ear un or just use the take away and eat in the pub. Be respectful and there's no worries.”

“Service was amazing. They were very attentive to my friend who has a food allergy. We got there at 6:40pm but got a train to catch at 8. They sped up the service and we were out by 7:40pm. Steaks superb, Caesar can’t be faulted, and chips to die for.”

“Alfresco cake I'm aware of this business I have used a few times but not quite often as I used to do. The freshly made food preparation is very good value for your money. Friendly staff service very well organised business even though it's hard for the business owner to continue to do so as specially more so in these pressing times it's hard for any businesses trying to keep servicing the community at the same time trying to survive and own a living.”

“Lovely local pub, spotlessly clean. Barmaids quick and friendly, there is karaoke but on the night I visited (Fri 03.11.23), there was a DJ. Great atmosphere and I enjoyed being there. Would def visit again next time I'm in Manchester.”

“I recently ate here for a family dinner. Lovely place and plenty of parking. Was welcomed by Lou, who walked us to our table and explained where to order. “Absolutely love little place. All the staff are friendly and can’t do enough for you. Food was amazing and came out quickly, hot and presentation was spot on . We Went on Mother’s day and they decorated the tables with flowers and balloons. Also had a live band play whom were very fitting for the occasion. Highly recommend. They cater for dogs, children and families.”

“I have been so impressed with Hilltops nursery since the day we signed our little boy up. The rooms are always set up with different activities each day and my little boy is always so excited to go inside and play. They have always worked around my own home routines to their best of their ability. They adapted the foods given to our little boy when he was younger and still will do so if he refuses to eat. He has come so far since attended and the chatterbox he is shows how much he is learning on a daily basis. Absolutely fantastic nursery and would recommend to anyone.”

Can I just say wow, the staff were lovely, the food was absolutely gorgeous and came out quickly, hot and fresh. The atmosphere was great, with music, wicked decor and a warm feel. “Landlady is lovely and friendly. My dog is allowed in if it’s quiet which is nice of them. (Ask first if you are bringing your dog!!). Beers are cold. Jukebox is excellent. Prefer it to Wetherspoons by a lot.”
