    Vlora Bar Restaurant Manchester

“Amazing home cooked food, such great balanced flavours and truly delicious, healthy menu. Tasted like real Eastern European cooked in the home, which is actually what the lovely host told us: all cooked by his wife. Unbelievable desert, nothing was too heavy, but rich and layered tastes. Wine didn't disappoint either. Looking forward to trying again!”

“I would have no hesitation in recommending Kemp Kitchen Design, from the design process to the fitting of the kitchen, the team couldn’t of been more professional. Any questions were answered very quickly and nothing seemed to much trouble. The kitchen works really well and has a real feel of a professional kitchen, which is just what we wanted. Rob and his team work really hard to deliver the kitchen of your dreams. Thank you for ours.”

“Had an amazing time at Hawksmoor Manchester. The team’s hospitality was spot-on — friendly, genuine, and made us feel really well looked after. Started the evening with a few cocktails at the bar, which were fantastic. The steak was the real highlight — perfectly cooked medium rare, juicy, and full of flavour. Honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long while, and I’ve been to quite a few steakhouses! Lovely ambience too — perfect for a relaxed date night.”

From initial meetings with both David & Alan we knew we’d come to the right place. From helping to answer our questions, to choosing key pieces and delivery, the service was flawless!! We’ve shopped with Bo Concept on more than one occasion now and are never disappointed- our Bulldog Maggie also approves of what is now one her own outside seats (she can vouch for the comfort!). Amazing products and first class service! Thank you.”

“A relaxed yet elevated dining experience, the team here are definitely focused on delivering not only a fine dining tasting platter but also engaging the customer in the journey of the food and wine. It was such a relaxed experience even though you are literally in the kitchen and watching how they prepare and deliver your food. The food may seem small but the flavour certainly packs a punch and if you really want yo elevate your experience then get the wine pairing and enjoy the delicate and robust flavours that it brings to the dining.”

“Some of the best ramen I've ever had. Came in here for a last minuet meal before a gig, incredible service and fast food. The pork ramen was smokey and rich with an incredible pull apart pork joint on top. The chicken ramen had a lighter broth to it but full of flavour and morish. Fried chicken was tender and crisp, felt homemade and cozy. The atmosphere was cool and stylish, felt authentic for a small ramen shop, simple but effective. Would absolutely eat here again!”

As we were coming from Hyatt House to Hyatt regency they gave us an early Check in, which was very kind of them. The restaurant staffs were extremely kind and helpful. A big shout out to Andrea from the restaurant, she was very helpful with the menu suggestions, as well as she helped us to find out nearest places to visit, she also gave a Drawing book and colours to our daughter so that she can play with that. Over all a very good experience and thank you to the Whole team.”

The staff were welcoming and professional, making us feel right at home the moment we arrived. The hotel itself is stunning beautifully designed, spotless, and with a lovely relaxed atmosphere. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. Breakfast was excellent too, with plenty of choice and great quality. The location couldn’t be better for exploring the city, and we really appreciated the little touches that made our stay feel special. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and are already looking forward to coming back!”

“Very highly recommended. This has to be the nicest Indian meal I’ve had in a very long time. Brilliant service from very helpful, friendly staff, it’s also reasonably priced. Piping hot food that is of a high standard. The portions aren’t too big, but enough to be able to enjoy everything we ordered. The garlic naan is so good, as are the curries. Very clean throughout, including the toilets, which I find incredibly important.”

Nice and clean bathroom with some nice brands of shampoo and body wash. Also had iron and hair dryer. Oh, and the view was stunning, staff was superfriendly. “Should've known that writing a review 2 days into a 4 day trip, would've come back to bite me on the back side. We stayed Monday to Thursday in November and on the Wednesday, someone knocked and entered my room without consent or without telling me who they were or why they were coming in. After I had shouted at them to get out they shut the door and walked back out of my accessible room. I got to the door and asked them what they wanted, they said they needed to fit something, never told me what though. Then proceeded to ask if I was going out that day to which I replied, im not sure. We proceeded to go out about an hour later and when we have come back the very thing that was broken, non emergency, was fixed. Again no one asked me to enter. No one asked for consent to enter the room id paid £677 for 3 nights. This is not deemed as an emergency because if it was, you have the right to tell me that and ask for my consent to enter. None of this was done. Id went down to reception who agreed it was out of line. I could've been in a wheelchair, In the shower, deaf, naked, anything, none of which was taken into account account. I was told there was no management there at the time and that I should leave me email for a manager to be in contact. That didn't happen for some days so I took to the IHG app which was also useless because a member of management - James- at the Holiday Inn Manchester told me that they dont correspond with one another so whatever they'd offered me in compensation has nothing at all to do with what theyre willing to do, which is nothing. Id suggest if you have any accessible needs, you do NOT book her as if there is any issues, they fail to deal with them, ignore emails and won't accept or compensate for this mistakes Ive left my initial review there so you can see the stark difference between the two in literally 12hrs Fantastic experience at the holiday inn. I brought my client as we were going to look at canal street etc. I had requested that the bed was made up as 2 singles and it wasnt but they quickly got me another bed and made it up for me. We had I think whats called an accessible room, and the room was stunning. Had all the plug sockets you could need along side usb charging ports. Plenty of lights along side a uv light in the bathroom. Spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy and the rooms were warm. They also had a bath along side a shower. Breakfast was amazing”

“Well what can I say? When we arrived, we were greeted by a friendly lady at the reception! She got us to check in early at 12:45pm. My brother and I were impressed by the quality and service. Soon we were given the key card to our rooms. The moment I walked in and seeing from pictures from google, I assumed the rooms to be tiny, but it’s adequately sized, and allows enough room for manoeuvrability. The room was clean throughout and hotel staff consistently came cleaned and changed sheets and towels and what not! The nights I spent were without disturbances! The rooms temperature was great all round and it didn’t affect my stay at all! However, my nitpicks only were, the TV that didn’t have enough channels and nothing interested me. Wish it had a movie catalogue. Another thing was when we left to do shopping, my room wasn’t refilled with coffee, so I just had the one last stick and also tea as well, but my brother was nice enough to share his coffee with me. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, it was well worth the money I spent and usually I stay at hotels, but joining Hilton honours, I did for the incredible offers should I wish to book a hotel at an early check in wherever I am!”

“My stay at the Townhouse Hotel Manchester was truly wonderful. From the moment I arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. Check-in was easy and fast, and the team made sure I felt comfortable right away. The room was clean, stylish, and very spacious, with a comfortable bed and everything I needed for a relaxing stay. I especially loved the modern bathroom and the little touches that made the space feel premium and inviting. The hotel’s atmosphere is elegant yet cozy, creating a perfect balance for both leisure and business travelers. The location is another huge highlight right in the heart of Manchester, close to shops, restaurants, and public transport. Despite being in the city centre, the room was peaceful and quiet, allowing for a great night’s sleep. Overall, the Townhouse Hotel exceeded my expectations. Excellent service, beautiful rooms, and a fantastic location. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Manchester.”

“After being let down by another hotel I turned to Novotel Manchester Centre. I was greeted by the extremely helpful Pasquale at reception. I explained my circumstances and Pasquale couldn't do enough to help and reassure me. On a day that was stressful and grey Pasquale really brought the sunshine back for which im thankful. We opted for a family room that was spacious, clean, modern and well laid out. All the staff work really hard in the hotel and are really helpful. This includes the cleaning and room staff. Special mention to Inga and her team who were so helpful and friendly with requests I had. Food and drink in the hotel were also great. The in house restaurant serves great food whatever the time of day. Again some super helpful and hardworking staff here with a mention to Isaac behind the bar. He was friendly and helpful to me and my children. The Novotel brand has always been a reliable and great brand. Im a firm beleiver that brands and hotels are built on their staff. At Novotel Manchester Centre you really have amazing staff who go the extra mile. They are a credit to the hotel and the Novotel brand. Many thanks and myself & my family will be back again soon.”

“Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”

“Stayed here for 2 weeks and that is my second 2 week stay this year. First week the room was small, like Harry Potters cupboard under the stairs small but had all the amenities still. Was clean, well stocked and did exactly what I needed it to do but was too small to relax in after a hard day's work. I didn't dine in the restaurant, not because the food wasn't nice, I ate in their on my previous visit and it was delicious but I did venture out this time. The second best bit about the stay? Breakfast, not only was breakfast delicious, always well stocked but they REALLY need a new coffee machine! The number 1 thing...CAROL K...She was outstanding! SOOOO funny, but lovely too. Made coming down on a morning a pleasure. No plans to go to Manchester again soon but would happily stay there to go and see Carol K again.”
