“Have visited this place on a number of occasions. It is a Sam Smith's pub so they only sell their own brewed beers but the prices are very reasonable. Friendly staff and I guess that mainly older patrons (like myself) will enjoy visits to this pub. There is an open fire during the cold weather. Only place to park is the car park opposite which is owned by the council and limited to 3 hour stay and they are quick on the fines if you go over that. Alternatively there is a tesco next to the building which also has a 3 hour policy. Hope I can save a ticket or 2 with this info.”

“Visited for dinner, we both wanted the pie and chips, no pies left., We then chose fish and chips and they had to check if they had fish. We were about to leave, but they had two left. The food arrived and we were pleased either the good, fish was excellent, large, chunky fish and good batter. The pub was a bit smelly, tables very sticky. Toilets really clean and tidy. Not too busy on a Monday afternoon. The pub is next to the golf course, with a great view. The pub could be so much nicer and it would increase footfall from golfers too.”
