“I cannot fault this Inn! Having wanted to visit the Navi for a few years after visiting the area. I finally got around to it this weekend. What a treat! The Inn is very welcoming and cosy as soon as you walk in and has been finished to a high standard. However, the true gem in the crown is the food! A great selection to meet any requirements and a fantastic list of specials! All the food was delicious, and I would highly recommend it to all!”

“Walked over from Lyme park, big party with three large dogs in tow. Lovely pub, great service and plenty of room for us all. The food was delicious, several of us got the crispy salt and pepper chicken which was great. So glad we stopped here.”

“Nipped in for a meal being intrigued by the name of a pub as The White Lion with the picture of a zebra on the pub sign. The pub is under refurbishment. The service was perfect. We had 3 roasts and we were struggling to eat all of the food. One small criticism - the food was not hot enough. I made a special request about my drink and it was not a problem for the barman to accommodate it.”

“I visited the Crown this evening for the Santa photo shoot and for dinner afterwards. The food was gorgeous and the management and staff went above and beyond. My daughter loved (The Real) Santa and we can’t wait to receive our photos. Thank you for a lovely evening. Will be returning very soon.”

“Came here after a dog walk at teatime for some food with the dog. Had Thai food and it was absolutely lovely. Sat by the bar with the food as we had the dog and absolutely loved it. Good music in the background lovely atmosphere & Quality Thai authentic food and really nice friendly pub. Would 100% come back”

“We ate here on Saturday 11.10.25. A big family group of 11. Age range 14 months -65 . Every one of us had great food, some carvery eaters, others chose from the menu. The staff were amazing (Trish as always), efficient and hugely accommodating. Even though it was quite busy, nothing was too much trouble. I personally recommend the carvery. It is amazing and the chef had added a shepherd's pie as a meat option, together with beef, Turkey, Chinese pork and roast pork. So glad I chose to have some. Delicious! Our go-to eatery, especially when family come to visit. Thank you and very well done all of you.”

“Our ”Tuesday club” went to birdandbeemcr today for the first time. They were 5 of us (usually 7) and we all opted for the bacon bun. Now this was not just any bacon bun - it was filled with crispy streaky bacon, with a cheesy, sumptuous little omelette on top - some of us had it on brioche & some on local sourdough. With pot of freshly brewed tea to go with it, it was delicious. One of us had a latte which was very professionally done too. They’ve only been open for a week but we’ll definitely to back to sample more great food. Sorry I didn’t take a pic but I’d finished it before I remembered!”

“Visited for the first time today for the burger offer. We had sausage roll and taco starters which were lovely and then I got the signature burger which was amazing. Would definitely go again”

“Had the carvery. All the vegetables were lovely, perfectly cooked. Roasties would have been nicer with a fluffier type of potato. Roast beef beautiful. Perfect apple crumble with loads of custard. Lovely waitress and lovely manager from the Hesketh which closed down and is still missed.”

“Absolutely amazing service received today. I was amazed at the amount of food and the food its self was fabulous. We all left full and wanting to return again soon. There was four of us in our party , booked in yesterday and each and everyone of us had amazing meals. So reasonable and they even finished off surprising me with a special birthday dessert. Thank you so much , what a great team, lovely atmosphere. I will be recommending highly and of course visit g again. Keep doing what you’re doing.”

“I've been going here for over 5 years now. Service and food has been consistently good all that time... My favourite dishes are haddock and chips, both of which they do very well, and pretty much any and every kebab they make (beyond doner, which itself is excellent, they know how to do Mediterranean and marinated (tandoori style) chicken). Just all round great food and pleasant experience from staff”

We had starters of arancini and croquettes that were delicious. Mains we opted for steaks that were perfect with a cherry & almond dessert. All of this was absolutely divine. “Dining at Brasserie Blanc was undoubtedly the highlight of our stay at the Delta Hotel. From the moment we stepped inside, the beautifully designed interior transported us to a different world. The space is bathed in natural light, creating an atmosphere that’s both elegant and uplifting. Despite not having a reservation, the staff welcomed us with warmth and generosity, even seating us in what must be the best spot in the house. The customer service was nothing short of exceptional—genuine, attentive, and effortlessly accommodating. The food was absolutely divine. We started with the Dressed Devon Crab and the Pan-Fried Sea Bream, both bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors and perfectly presented. “Really lovely place with great food! My husband order a burger and I ordered a burrito. Enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable. If there's an improvement maybe it would be nice to have a spiced rice instead of plain rice for the burrito as it watered down the taste but overall, we enjoyed the food. Husband said it was probably the best burger that he had in Manchester! The fries that we had was amazing too! We'd love to be back and try the other stuff in their menu.”

“Did a quick Google search and this place was about 5 miles from where I was , plenty of places local to where I was, searched for brunch, I wasn't disappointed, everything was superb, the breakfast was excellent, all quality stuff, place is bright and airy, service was second to none, nothing too much trouble, staff are brilliant, just the right level of service, will definitely be looking forward to a second visit when I'm passing this way again, *****”
