“This venue is absolutely incredible. I’ve now been to two weddings here and thoroughly enjoyed both. It’s a proper hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Saddleworth, you honestly wouldn’t expect it to be quite so impressive from the outside. Inside, the décor is tasteful, elegant, and beautifully thought out. There’s a stunning balcony that overlooks the main dining area, and the outdoor space is massive, perfect for weddings and, I imagine, other events too. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner. I ordered some drinks I wasn’t supposed to, but he handled it really politely and respectfully. It's easy as a business owner to become jaded and not speak to people as individuals or talk down to them, but he's obviously a good dude and gives people the benefit of the doubt.”

“Stayed one night with my partner, had the dinner for two deal. Stud bar was excellent, barman friendly and made a mean cocktail. Reception and restaurant staff were also friendly and helpful. The food and atmosphere in the restaurant were of really high quality and the breakfast was also amazing. Would recommend. Rooms and facilities were first rate.”

We ordered the offer of 6 starts for around £30-ish for two of us and was more than enough for us both (we couldn't eat it all). Had to try the 12hr baked potatoes just to see what that was all about and they were absolutely divine! Def a recommend from me.”

“We had our Ruby Wedding celebration in the same place we were married, exactly 40 years to the date, Statham Lodge. As always, the venue, food and service were excellent. Thanks to Daisy Kate for the musical entertainment, it made a special day even better especially when she duetted with our son Nathan. “We visited Aatma as part of the Beyond The Music festival. Google maps steered us to pretty much the right spot, but as others have said in their reviews, finding the exact stairwell entrance is slightly hard. However, if anything that only added to the experience and atmosphere. Upstairs in the venue, the acoustics were good and it’s a decent size for listeners. There’s some scattered seating around the edges including sofas, buy once acts were on everyone was on their feet anyway. The range of soft drinks in the upstairs bar was quite poor, but the atmosphere more than made up for it”

“I have been to Lux Lounge six times so far and I love it the atmosphere the food especially the barbecue ,friendly staff(abdula, Ali, Hazim) and excellent service plenty of parking everything amazing it’s my favourite place. I came all the way from Bolton.”

“My friends treat me a birthday lunch and 3 of us are very satisfied with the beautiful environment, fantastic service and delicious food with amazing decoration. “The Smoker looks great after the recent renovation, but still retains its quaint, welcoming old coach House feel. The menu was superb. We each had something from the specials board, mine was chicken with potato cakes, topped with a mustard sauce. The food was excellent value, well presented and was really tasty. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, great beer selection. I'd recommend the smoker to anyone wanting a meal out with friends or family.”

“Visited 29/04/2024, at lunch time parking was available in the limited spots at front of the building. Go in and there is the restaurant part to the right as you go in. The seabass on the potato dauphinois and green beans was very tasty, the side of salt and pepper chips was also nice. “Great pub. Great live entertainment every Friday and Saturday nights. Made this our local about 6 months ago and nowhere comes anywhere near to matching the friendliness of the staff and other locals. Fantastic atmosphere and a proper pub. Never have to wait long to be served, even when the place is rammed. Our nights out are always made more enjoyable, and our thirsts suitably quenched, by the fabulous Francesca and the rest of the friendly, amazing and eager bar staff.”

“I attended the Autumn Spa Day with my Mum today, which was a birthday gift. We had an absolutely lovely time, the facilities are wonderful, loved the various sauna/steam rooms etc available. The outdoor thermal pool was fabulous too. We also joined in with an aqua aerobics class which was on at the time and we really enjoyed it. To finish off we had a 50 minute treatment which was incredible, the girls were wonderful who did the treatments and made sure we were always happy & comfortable. The staff on the spa reception were also really helpful and happy to help us. Although the changing rooms were a little tired and in need on a facelift, it didn’t affect our visit whatsoever! We would definitely return!”

“Went on Saturday night to see a unpopular film. it was a great experience, as zero queues, quick to get snacks. great seat positioning (right in middle of screen). the screen was great, sound awesome. Clean. and even the "cheaper" seats were comfortable with lots of leg room for a 6ft man.”
