“Absolutely loved this hotel. It is a short walking distance from the train station, easy to access. The building looks amazing and the rooms are just fab! It is a proper hotel room but very well equipped even had a small kitchen installed giving a feeling of an RBnb so you can cook your own meals if you want. Nice and clean bathroom with some nice brands of shampoo and body wash. Also had iron and hair dryer. Oh, and the view was stunning, staff was superfriendly. Wifi was quick, easy to connect and even the staircase looks beautiful. Highly recommended accomodation if you visit Manchester.”

“I asked Ryan's Italian to cater a works event in Manchester City centre and ordered 20 pizzas. The pizzas were delivered on time and hot. All night I was being asked where I ordered the pizzas from as everyone was loving them. Thank you very much for catering our event!”

“Relaxed little place, absolute gem for sushi, and I have to callout the cocktails - they're so affordable and are yummy. I've been here so many times now with different friends and even just once for a few cocktails. Always been excellent. Absolutely addicted to the salmon sashimi bowl, my definite go to. The platters are amazingly worth it (I used to live in London so...), portion size was SO GOOD, quality SO GOOD (see pics) Never get hot food here so can't really comment but can confirm it smells and looks yummy.”

The food is of the highest quality, but you'll just have to take my word on that and go and sample [it] for yourself! You won't regret it... I don't want to spoil the surprise! “Very good service from the waiters. The food is pretty good. The fried chicken has a lovely coating and is very crispy with very juicy meat underneath. The coconut rice is fragrant with coconut but also it is not sticky. A very interesting texture I don't usually have. The sambal taste amazing. Lovely flavours of the anchovies. The chicken satay was the best I had so far compared to the supermarket stuff. Proper char and the peanut sauce taste great. I'm really happy that the sambal was not spicy not because I can't tolerate spice but it's because I can taste the flavours. Not a criticism but the price is very high. So if you got the money, go for it.”

“Stayed here for 2 weeks and that is my second 2 week stay this year. First week the room was small, like Harry Potters cupboard under the stairs small but had all the amenities still. Was clean, well stocked and did exactly what I needed it to do but was too small to relax in after a hard day's work. I didn't dine in the restaurant, not because the food wasn't nice, I ate in their on my previous visit and it was delicious but I did venture out this time. The second best bit about the stay? Breakfast, not only was breakfast delicious, always well stocked but they REALLY need a new coffee machine! The number 1 thing...CAROL K...She was outstanding! SOOOO funny, but lovely too. Made coming down on a morning a pleasure. No plans to go to Manchester again soon but would happily stay there to go and see Carol K again.”

“The room was very clean and comfortable, basic amenities, bed very comfy. The house keeping was very good. The location for MRI hospital could not have been better. 10 minutes walk away. Local amenities good, petrol station, tesco, subway etc. Parking at the back of the travel lodge at a very reasonable price.”

Only slight thing was the lack of an exit to the car park from the other side of the hotel which meant going back via reception, but I'm really being picky there. “Salford Quays Travelodge is the best in the whole country! Our favourite place to stay. Perfect for getting around Manchester by tram, and ideally situated for The Lowry theatre. And lovely Ordsall Hall. This Travelodge is always comfortable, warm and welcoming. The staff are smashing.
