“Incredible food, service and prices! Would definitely recommend! Their homemade chips were thick so I was expecting some hard ones, but no! Every single once was light and fluffy! I don’t know what sorcery they use in that kitchen but it’s amazing. The quality of all of their food was really good and they have to softest chocolate fudge cake, you’d have to try to understand! They use proper vanilla ice cream with it too, not the cheap stuff! It’s not sickly either, they make it perfectly. (Not stayed in their hotel, only been in for food)”

“Getting there by public transport/foot: So I got the 192 from Manchester City Centre and you want to get off at Belmont Way, it's the stop after Belmont Bridge which is near Topps Tiles and Boots Opticians. You then follow Belmont Way all the way around and cross over to the left when you reach the ASDA mini shop and Farm Foods, keep walking up when you get to the corner you will see JYSK it's between Halfords and Wickes. It's about a 10-15 minute walk depending on your pace when you get off the 192. Store and Customer Experience: The actual store is very tidy and displays are done very well. It's shows a great range of products as well as incredible prices. As for customer service, it's probably the best I have experienced to date from any shopping experience. I have made a few visits and you never have the feeling that you would want to speak to a specific staff member over an other, as everyone of them that has helped me with customer service has been fantastic. An incredible team for customer experience. Delivery Service: They use a company called AnyVan. I purchased a 3-seater sofa and I could pick how many people I wanted to deliver it and what day (Mon - Fri). So one person delivering will be one price and an extra drivers mate will cost a little more. My sofa delivery price was £27 and for a drivers mate it would have been £40 but I wanted to keep cost down and was more than able to help the driver. They also have a great tracking system and the day before delivery will give you an estimated time slot, so keep checking your emails. I also made a measurement mistake and unfortunately I couldn't get the sofa through the communal areas. I called JYSK back after arranging a paid sameday collection from AnyVan and was then able to go back to the store to exchange it for a 2-seater sofa. Again. Great service on behalf of AnyVan and JYSK. Now I have my 2-seater sofa and will be going back for the armchair on my next pay day :D.”

“Easily accessible, just 6 minutes walk from Crumpsall metro. On arrival I was greeted by a very friendly lady, who throughout my stay was very nice and helpful. We checked into the room and immediately noticed how clean the room was, the whole hotel in fact was immaculate. Our room was well equipped with iron hairdryer, tv, fresh towels, and coincidentally my favourite biscuits, just everything you need. That evening after a night out I was quite cold (wet September) and the moment i got into bed, I warmed up so quickly, the bedding was fantastic, and the mattress was honestly the best mattress i have ever slept on in my whole life. It was fantastic! Annoyingly i naturally woke up early but had a lovely bath and started looking forward to breakfast. When i went down, the corridor smelled like fantastic home cooking but i made a mistake and didnt realise i had to prebook the night before. Judging by everything else in the stay, I'm certain it would have been excellent. Checkout was easy at a great time of 11 with an equally friendly gentleman. 5 stars isn't enough. It felt like a family run businesa that was managed perfectly with care and high standards. If i find myself in Manchester again, i would gladly avoid the centre and stay here. Highly recommend.”

I primarily interact with Kelsie, Laura, and Florin, who consistently go above and beyond to assist me with various property-related matters. Even when I am unable to personally visit the development to aid a tenant, all three of them willingly step in to help in my absence, despite it not being mandatory for them to do so. I am genuinely grateful for their dedication and proactive support. Their efforts have truly made the process seamless and stress-free for me. “Me and my partner and 2 kids arrived here and was made to feel extremely welcome by all staff members , they have so much respect and are so polite. Rooms are clean and you feel safe here. One member of staff is my favourite and that is Samira she has helped me and my family a lot when I've been feeling down and she is there to listen if ever need to talk. She is a credit to the Hala hotel and is extremely good at her job for caring for everybody.”

“I can't speak to the location, as I ended up here accidentally because I was lost. The rooms are little rough around the edges, as all budget inns, motels, etc will be. That's just the way budget spots are. It's like they were created strictly for the purpose of being a place you pick last minute when you're exhausted. Everything was clean, the bedding was stain free, the mattress firm, towels blindingly white and the carpet had clearly been cleaned recently. The service was absolutely excellent. I was kind of a fried mess when I came in and the clerk on the evening of the 17th was very sweet and kind. In fact, I was so pleased with the service that I chose to stay a second night and just take a day to relax. The morning staff was also warm and kind. Honestly? I would say it's a good budget option for me. I am pleased with the service and everything.”

“If your thinking about staying then I recommend to book book book.. my only fault is that I had to share a bathroom with others, but also for saying it is a busy bar on canal street it was quiet. “By far the best place I’ve stayed in. Spotless and not your big standard room, decor is nice and bright. We felt secure and wasn’t kept up by thin walls and night owls. Fantastic selection of drinks in the residents bar. Breakfast by Paul set me up for the day. Would recommend this place to anyone.”

“I thought I'd leave a review since I had a pleasant experience with them. So I rented a flat for 3 years. During my tenancy a few things broke/worn out and they were very quick to fix it. Usually the next morning. Ending my tenancy was quite hassle free as well as I moved to a larger property. Great landlords/agents overall and would rent from them again.”

“This was a great place to stay! I was a bit cautious due to some of the reviews, but it was perfect for a night stay before the airport. The receptionist was shy and not talkative but still smiling and checked us in efficiently. Our room was easy to get to, clean, and had some tea and coffee which was lovely. The shared bathroom was also very clean and not often used, so it was great to get a cheap room for value. I would recommend staying here.”

“Fourth time staying here. Three times this year. Staff all amazing. Helpful, friendly, and make us feel like valued guests. Rooms comfortable and clean. Beds superb. It is noisy outside, but hey, we are in the middle of a city! In the centre of manchester. Breakfast well worth it. High quality bacon and sausage. staff all seem to muck in together, helping with all that needs to be done. As two older ladies travelling together, we feel safe, welcome and have already booked to come back.”

“Yea I stayed here for nearly 8 months from July 2019 to March 2020 and you what it my by far the best place i stayed at i absolutely loved my time there i stayed in room 8 which the best room in the hotel and the only one with a massive TV on the AND SAFE WAS A LIVERPOOL FAN JUST LIKE ME when I was homeless i stayed in hotels all over Manchester AND THE HAWTHORNS HOTEL WAS BY FAR THE BEST I MISS MY TIME THERE X”

“The first plus is the service. Everyone we encountered was super helpful, polite and generous with their time!! The room we had was spacious, clean and very comfortable! We slept very well! The neighborhood is very nice. Avenues lined with mature trees and attractive houses. 15 minutes to airport without extra traffic. 7 minutes by car, into adorable town with great and varied restaurant options! Oh, and affordable for this retired couple.”

“I stayed at the Imperial Salford Hotel for three days and overall had a very good experience. The room was comfortable, and the location made it easy to get around. The service was generally good, and the staff were friendly without being over the top. A special thanks goes to T, who made a noticeable difference with their friendliness and helpful attitude. It was truly appreciated and made the stay a bit better. All in all, a place I’m happy to recommend and would consider visiting again.”

“The rooms are basic but clean, and the beds are comfortable enough for a good night’s sleep.The breakfast was simple but satisfactory, with a few options to choose from. The hotel also offers free parking, which is a big plus in Manchester. One thing to note is that the hotel is a bit dated and could use some renovations. However, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly place to stay that’s close to the city center, the Sandown Hotel is a solid choice.”
