“My friend and I happened upon this restaurant by accident and were very pleased with the service and the food; polite and helpful staff and generous portions of food! Polly came over once we started eating and offered to hold the baby whilst we ate as he became a little restless and she kept him until my friend had finished her meal, which is very rare but wonderfully welcomed. As i have a sensitivity to sound and usually wear my Cans it wasnt too loud and i managed to not wear them much. Needless to say we will be returning again on our next monthly meet up. Thank you to Polly and the rest of the staff at The Buttery.”

“Took my my mum for afternoon tea today. The food was really very nice and plentiful. The staff were welcoming and very kindly moved us to an outside table as we found it too warm in the room where they had first laid the table. I felt it was good value and we couldn’t manage to eat everything so requested a box to take the rest home which the staff provided. The garden centre itself is quite small but does have a decent plant area, lots of pots to buy, a pet shop and a small gift shop. They do have a lot of summer houses and garden furniture on show. They also have animals eg rabbits, guines pigs, ducks, chickens, goats and a large tortoise and you can buy grain to feed the goats. I would definitely recommend the afternoon tea and the rest of the menu looks good as well.”

“Love this café. They have a sign that days " arrive as strangers and leave as friends ". That is so true. Lovely staff wonderful home cooked food and plenty of it Good prices. We would not go anywhere else and we feel part of the furniture now. There every day unless something urgent gets in the way. Well done to you all. “Had a lovely meal tonight at The Coaching Inn, ordered the fish and chips and the massaman curry! Food was incredible - the curry was the best curry we’ve had in a while! Chris - the manager - was very helpful and attentive and kind! Can not recommend enough!!!!”

“I had a Golf ladies away weekend Sunday to Monday in September. We had a great time the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food we had in the evening was very good too. We had two rounds of golf which we all enjoyed too. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Thankyou”

“I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this. It was recommended to me. It's very rare I eat pizza these days whatever . After contemplating getting one for 2 months . I finally went in an ordered a simple 6 in thin crust pizza. Perfection . 0 flop good cheese and a nice tomato base 7.99 Very good pizza .”

“Kokoro is always yummy and for a reasonable price. They put so much of whatever protein topping you choose, they're more generous than anywhere else I've been to! The katsu chicken is delicious. Many other good options too though I wish they would bring back the spicy pork they removed from the menu. Though please put in a recycling bin for cans/bottles of drink as I hate putting these straight in a rubbish bin”

“Had breakfast at Bill’s and it was fantastic! I had the shakshuka, honestly the best I’ve ever had. Really warming, perfectly spiced, and so full of flavour. The flatbread on the side was amazing too. My husband ordered a side of hash browns, and the portion was huge! Lovely people serving us as well, such a friendly atmosphere and a great start to our day. Highly recommend!”

“I had severeal meals, fish and chips, and everytime I ate here I felt I was served fresh, fried fish. So the Fish and Chips kept a good standard in my view. The employees was friendly and proffesional. Short preparation time. I waited maximum 7 minutes.”

“Found on the main high street. This is open every day except for Tuesdays. They accept cash and card, although the card machine signal can be hit and miss. I've found them to be friendly, and efficient. Service was really fast. The food was delicious, and they even put the sauce in a separate container. I can't fault this takeaway, and I repeatedly use it.”

“If I could give it more STARS I Would...We both use it quite regulary in the evenings and have found the owners very polite and willing to help. We have lived in the area for many years and would not put this shop down at all........As for the guy that said his wine was off, The Shop only sells it they don't brew it.....We have had bad wine and vodka from large supermarkets so it really has nothing to do with who is selling it.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK>>>>YOU ALL WORK VERY HARD....ESPECIALLY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR WHEN EVERYWHERE ELSE IS SHUT.. THANK YOU SO MUCH..”

“We booked a last minute one night stay and although apprehensive about staying based on the reviews we went for it and we were pleasantly surprised. We had a Jungle Safari Lodge (python number 10). It looked great and we were happy with it, after all we are only staying one night. Double bed could do with a new mattress and bunk beds were solid but again one night only. There were a few kitchen utensils but didn't really look as we weren't eating in the lodge but if you were you'd probably want to keep cooking down to a quick, simple meal and probably take your own stuff so you know you've definitely got it. We booked a table at restaurant but couldn't get in till late (our fault for delaying the booking) cancelled it and found a harvester 1 mile away which was good. Entertainment onsite from 4.30pm seemed good (we didn't do much of it as eating etc). We had breakfast included in our stay and the menu was simple, we opted for a bacon butty. Bacon was excellent quality and the roll was pre cut with no butter, again didn't matter to us, we had a full belly and were grateful for the deal we got. I would visit Adventures village again next year if we got a similar deal. We enjoyed our stay and thought it was great fun.”
