There were other people in the pub that we knew and they had really enjoyed their meals too and we all said we'd happily return (for pudding, another day as we're all full this time). “Great little club in Langford. Went over for the Charity Skittles night (fundraiser for Sue Ryder) had a great evening. Club has two rooms and ample space for lots of people. There is a pool room and big screen TV for those that need the footie. There is an outside seating area for the warmer weather. Had a great evening on my first visit and enjoyed the music. They have a few bands in from time to time, check their website for details. Would go back.”

“We went to the Rose and Crown at Hartwell this past Friday... we've been meaning to visit here for a while. So glad we did and sorry we have not been sooner! The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. They have a great team who are really friendly, helpful and customer focused. The menu was varied and caters for all tastes. I chose the brie and mushroom crostini as a starter - it was superb! The mains were great - I opted for fish and chips and it didn't disappoint. My wife had one of the specials... the honey chilli salmon and rice with pak choi. Again, delicious! We finished off with the amazing cheese platter - it had us beat! A really generous sharer with enough for a to-go box! All round, really excellent value for a delicious meal out. This little gem is just 2 miles from Hanslope. Give it a go and support our local businesses 100% recommended!”

The wedding venue itself is great for all types of weddings and also has great accommodation on site for the wedding party. “The West End Ivy is an ideal restaurant while out for a show or two. Making reservations on OpenTable guarantees seating. It is so nice to be greeted by a doorman, and the ambiance is classic and refined. Service is impeccable. We opted for standard seating, but next time, I would love to sit at the bar as well. Either are good choices. We chose the Ivy's classic starters and mains, which were excellent. Having ample time, we also chose coffee and dessert. All in all, our dinner was a great evening out.”

“We stayed at the Aviator in August and loved just about everything about it. We received a very nice welcome and all of the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and comfortable. It was also quiet. The art deco fittings and decor thought the hotel are beautiful and very well preserved. Food was very good. The wine was very reasonably priced and the two locally brewed beers were dangerously moreish! Set beside a not too busy flying club the grass area outside of the hotel was an ideal spot for a pre dinner drink. This hotel is great value for money and well worth a visit.”
