“Called in last Saturday at 2.30pm needing 2 black tie suits, due to being let down with hire suits. The shop was already busy with 2 groups of lads who had made appointments. I explained our situation and was asked to wait if we could and they would get to us asap. We only waited around 10 minutes during which time we were offered a drink. A hour later we had 2 black tie suits, shirts, ties and cufflinks. The service was first class, they know their business, make time to understand your needs and deliver to the highest of standards. Absolutely first class, thank you.”

“Popped in to have a drink, and had a great time. Staff were lovely and really helpful, drinks were perfect (I had a non-alcoholic beer as I was driving and my wife had a lovely merlot) and the decor was cool. Cracking atmosphere and will definitely be back for the Sunday lunch and live music. Edit: Went back for Sunday dinner and drinks. The food was outstanding, the band very entertaining and the atmosphere reflected that. Thoroughly recommended.”

“Highly recommended. Great service, great food and nice decor. We had the afternoon meal offer 2 course. Both had Rump steak, was offered chips but swapped for vegetables, well accommodating. All very lovely. Under £50 including two drinks. Was way too full for any desert. Going through a renovation adding solar panels, with zero disturbance. (Nearly Done) Loads of parking, close to M1 and A52.”

“Excellent restaurant serving fabulous food in gorgeous surroundings. My son and daughter-in-law have visited here several times before and raved about their experiences, and I was equally impressed. There were plenty of vegetarian options, and a nice selection of cocktails. The restaurant was incredibly busy but service was relatively quick - staff were attentive but not intrusive. I really enjoyed my visit and will definitely be back.”

“Had a really great meal here for my birthday. Everyone was happy with their food, my steak was cooked perfectly. Great wines too. The waiting staff were attentive and they even sent over a glass of prosecco as a present. Highly recommend! The one thing I would say is that they could do with a bit of background music for some ambience. Otherwise, can't fault it!”

“We had a very good time here, the smoked haddock chowder was lovely and the prawn spring rolls were delicious. We also had as a main course the crispy pork with red sauce with jasmine rice and the Tai style Roast duck with egg fried rice were also good and decent portions for us. The only downside was that the above and a bottle of wine cost a total of £80.00 which I find is more of a special occasion restaurant rather than a monthly treat. Although this was a very nice meal.”
