“We had a Parker Knoll sofa which looked old because of saggy cushions. Cheshire upholstery came out to examine and measure the for a quality refill. This was reassuring because I didn't want to buy online and get it wrong. Less than a week later, the newly filled cushions are back. The sofa looks and feels like new and will last another 10 years. Great personal service, quickly delivered and a good price. Excellent choice.”

“Love My Socks is a lovely shop, tucked away in Getliffe's Yard in Leek. If you're a crafter you'll know that you can never have too many craft supplies and Love My Socks is sure to satisfy the need for just that little bit more, especially if you knit or crochet. It's a little gem of a shop, there's lots of different craft kits you didn't know you needed and definitely worth a visit.”

“Great place to stay. Vegetarian breakfast was excellent, with a lot of attention to detail. Quiet location, comfy bed and various complimentary extras such as fruit and mineral water provided. Internet TV was good for iPlayer and other channels. Easy to walk into the centre of Buxton for an evening meal. Some parking spaces onsite plus other parking readily available nearby.”

“Been meaning to write a review for ages... this place is stunning and so are the owners, staff and food. Sophia and the team have an incredible job as custodians of such a beautiful and historic building and throughout lockdown they have shown strength and resilience beyond measure to keep it open and thriving. It was the only place we had takeaway from during lockdown, I think it was about 8 times in the end- amazing fish and chips. We were delighted to be able to eat in properly and each time the food and service has been perfect The menu is exquisite, wonderful fusions of flavours and presented like a piece of art! The 7 course tasting menu that should have been our NYE celebration, took place in May after lockdown and it was stunning and a much needed very special treat for my husband and I. I want to get there at lunchtime and enjoy the beautiful garden before the end of the summer!”

Below par food from the vegetarian menu with ingredients missing from the salad. Really quiet but the service was also a bit lacklustre. Ordered from the app at the table which is a worrying experience as it often tries to order the mains again when you add food was a little below par. 19 Oct 2024 Another visit with my father in law and although the bar and waiting staff were as excellent as always the standard of the food is dropping rapidly. So few flavoursome filling vegetarian options I reverted to fish and chips again and yet again the fish was overcooked (our last visit had the same problem and when asked by the waitress if it was alright was told by her several had been sent back that lunchtime). Is this a kitchen staffing problem or is the frozen battered fish they use just poor quality?”

The community function hall was excellent for celebrating a birthday party, equipped with good facilities like ample parking, a well-equipped kitchen, and a bar. It's an ideal venue for an average-sized function, complete with a staffed bar, a stage, and all necessary amenities. The availability of kitchens and free parking adds to the convenience, making it a standout choice for gatherings.”

The food was absolutely delicious, a fantastic variety of Tapas, table service for drinks, waiting on staff provided a high class service.
