“Danny served up what was undoubtedly the best food I have ever tasted for our wedding. His efforts trumped any meal I've had at, even at a Michelin-star restaurant. He was also an absolute dream to work with. Changes to the menu, even last-minute ones, were met with a can-do attitude. His flexibility and positive demeanour took a lot of stress off our shoulders, and made the planning process much smoother for us. The standout aspect of his service was how he accommodated our guests with food allergies and intolerances. He didn't bat an eyelid when asked to prepare alternative meals, ensuring no one felt left out. He took great care to ensure these dishes were as delicious and well-presented as the others, which my bride and I felt was truly commendable. It made those guests feel equally important and included in the celebration. In a nutshell, Danny was not just great at his job but also a great person to work with. His dishes were a hit, his attitude was professional and his attentiveness to all our guests' needs was truly heartening. We really couldn't have asked for a better culinary experience for our wedding. I'd recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a top-notch chef, and I will certainly be using him again!”

“Location of the Palmersport Caterham Pursuit activity, and also the 4x4 course. It's a log cabin, there is a proper fixed loo a 5 minute walk away. They fit windows to the cabin for winter only, and take them out each spring. The key to the Caterham is an ability to do a doughnut round a cone at the end of the course (this saves about 2 or 3 seconds off the elapsed time). The key to the 4x4 is an ability to keep the vehicle on the sets of parallel bars; the tennis balls are also important but overall the bars are the major part of your score.”

Anyway me and my friend had an amazing time I’m glad we stumbled upon it! The food was amazing the staff were super friendly and it was quite cosy in there as it felt like you was in someone’s dinning room. Ideal place for a date as was nice and accommodating. “Came here tonight for the first time with my partner. Initially, the queue was long and we figured we’d be there for a good while. However, they were adequately staffed meaning the queue moved quickly. we ordered large chips, two jumbo sausage and curry sauce. It was superb! Chips were fresh and arguably some of the best chippy chips I’ve had. Sausage was also good. Curry sauce had a nice sweetness to it but I think the pot could have been a bit bigger. Will be returning again, thank you :).”

“Really nice little Italian restaurant, fantastic atmosphere and service. My pizza and tira misu were gorgeous, but I was a little underwhelmed by my prawn starter otherwise I would have scored 5 stars. My wife and I had starters, mains, shared a dessert and I had 2 drinks and it came to just over £60 so really good value in my opinion Definitely worth a visit”

Popular indoor/outdoor space and enough parking. I always thought the Loop Road was a local myth but really is a road to where you just were with a great pub half-way round! “This is a lovely little cafe which is extremely reasonable with a large menu. It's a great choice of food and everytime I've been the food has been really nice and well cooked. They do prefer cash but will happily take card payments too. Always a treat to visit the Pumphouse.”

“I have visited here with different people over the last couple of weeks. The first time, my friend and I ordered the Super grain salad. It doesn't say anywhere in the ingredients there's anything hot or spicy in it, but neither of us could eat it! We asked if they could check with the chef and he said there's a coating on the grains that isn't mentioned. They apologized and changed our meals for another one with no fuss.”

I was struggling to find a place that could accommodate 11 people last minute on Sunday. We were extremely happy when they accepted our booking. We had a great time, food was nice.
