“This pharmacy is inside Sainsbury's so one good thing, open until late. The staff are good and friendly, yes can be wait at times so maybe go do that before your shop. One thing I love is they are a phone call away, they are extremely helpful, will give you good advice on the phone and have helped me to check on prescriptions as I live a 25min walk away so rather know it's there first”

“Wow! Boots not my first choice previously but just having used their services as an emergency, it was faultless! Two totally professionally ladies behind the counter, genuine concern & want to assist. Could not speak highly enough about them. Went over and above duty to help when original chemist had an urgent prescription passed to them from our Doctors, then closed its doors without notice due to staffing problems it stated. (not first time!) Pharmacist was inside but refused to serve even the urgent cases and old people waiting outside having already been told to return from earlier. Our prescription was already downloaded by them leaving Boots ladies in a very difficult position to repeat the required needs. Fast action taken, direct call to our doctors, a call at home within 15 mins to say sorted and ready to collect. Returned, on the spot service given. Companies are made by their staff not the name over the door,. Boot is not always number one for many people but with great ladies like this they would be the Go To! Thank you very much indeed!”

“I gave 72 hours notice for my prescription to my doctors surgery, however it was never sent over to the pharmacy. It was a Friday afternoon and I needed my medication for the weekend. But unfortunately the pharmacy is closed on a Saturday and as I was working in the afternoon on Friday I couldn't wait. Natalie from the pharmacy was so understanding and helpful and was able to sort out an alternative for me. She went to the doctors to get my prescription form and was able to dispense for me and take to another pharmacy for me to collect the following day. She went above and beyond to make sure I got my medication for the weekend.”

“Over the years using this Chemist I have found them to be helpful, caring, showing empathy at times. Yes, they get busy and you have to wait. BUT often things are out of their control meaning customers can get impatient having to wait, but the staff stay 'cool' and cope. I am glad we have them to support our medical needs. Thank you.”

“Walked in for the Pharmacy First service as I had had a UTI for a week already and knew I would be waiting too long for a GP appointment (especially with it being a Friday). I hadn't used the pharmacy before but the service exceeded my expectations. There was no queue at this time (mid afternoon) so I was seen to quickly by a very friendly pharmacist at the counter. She communicated what to expect and I was then seen to in the consultation room quicker than expected (they fit me in between vaccination appointments). It was also only a short wait for the prescription to be ready. I was in and out the store within about 15 minutes with the desired result, and had pleasant interactions with the attentive staff.”

“Quick update: The foot traffic this pharmacy has might be huge and has impacted their delivery of medication on a few occasions, based on this, despite their kindness and genuine support, had to relocate. This update does not impact my initial review, as they do their best. (end of edit) Every time I've called this pharmacy, Ive received a pleasant person on the other side! My Flabber is gasted at the poor reviews as this has not been our experience at all! I think one needs to bear in mind that NOT every patient is sunshine and rainbows, and that patients tend to have Very high expectations of those who serve others, whilst NOT meeting their OWN high standards themselves! (Likewise, the same can be true for professionals) This is A gentle reminder to give GRACE to those who serve others, as they are all doing their best, so that we all can have the best.
