“Having a large breed dog that has reached a good age often brings with it issues around how mobile they are. This can make it difficult to get them to the vets because its either too far to walk them or too difficult for them to get in the car or to lift them due to their size. I genuinely feel that finding Paws Indoors was the difference between me having to consider putting my older Leonberger to sleep or being able to keep her happy, comfortable and still enjoying life for another couple of years. The fact that they could come out to see her when necessary and could deal with all her repeat medication needs by phone/post meant that she happily and comfortably lived to the incredible age of 15. I really do feel that would not have been possible if I had had to attend a normal vet clinic with her as it was hardwork for both her and me. When the very sad time came to say goodbye to her they were amazing, kind, compassionate, respectful and supportive to me as her owner too. If you have a dog who doesn't like going to the vets, or struggles with the journey, or is just a bit big and stiff to get in the car like mine was, then Paws Indoors may just be the answer to your problems. I'll never be able to thank them enough for the extra years they enabled me to have with my beautiful girl thanks to their knowledgeable home-based care, or the way they helped me when the time came to say goodbye. I would recommend them to anyone.”

However I needn’t have worried, Claire the owner reassured me that he’d be fine, and we could request updates to see how he was. He settled really well, and took it all in his stride! “Went for a visit to see the facilities and was blown away by how amazing they are. Everything is double glazed and kept to a good temperature, clean, spacious and airy. The owners are lovely and happy to answer any questions you have. You have to supply your cats food but that's not an issue as it keeps them on the same food so no upset tummies. Although there is no access to an outside space the inside is definitely the best I have seen and is more than adequate. I haven't placed my cat in here yet but she's due a holiday with them in May and I have no qualms with putting her here based on what I have seen.”

“Both my dogs Sophie and Lexi went in to have their teeth cleaned and Lexi had to have 6 teeth removed. I must say the care from the reception team to the nurses to the vets was fantastic. The care they gave my dogs was 100% throughout. I have just joined rackheath due to my old vet trying to sell me procedures that my dogs did not need. Changing to Rackheath vets is the best decision I have made for my dogs and for me. The care they have for animals is so clear. “Our 6 month old Labrador Rudy had an accident and managed to cut his paw quite deep and being on holiday we needed to see a vet as soon as possible, one visit as an emergency appointment and then a quick surgery to have stitches on both occasions everyone that looked after him were so helpful and caring less than a week after he’s healing nicely wish that all vets were this good”

“Our 10.year old Whippet fell ill while we were on holiday in Cromer. We rang the vets at 8am and were given an appointment at 9.15 . The Reception staff and Vets were lovely with us .....we were in a bit of a state because we had a similar issue with our other dog which had a sad outcome . The staff were understanding and made us feel comfortable about the procedure that was going to happen to our fur baby .She was scanned and admitted. They did a full promethazine spay surgery”

“I have always used this kennels. My slightly nervous rottie rescue is always nervous on arrival but the girls always make her welcome and greet her at her level. By the time she is signed in she is relaxed and happy. The large enclosed paddocks are amazing and I know she has the best time as she never wants to leave when I collect.”

“We love Rowan House! I’m not going to say we are here often, monthly - but sometimes more. Rue (my dog) loves it here, she is treated like a VIP (VID? Very important dog!?) she knows all the staff, they greet her and give her cuddles and she smiles with excitement everytime we go! Honestly, the best vets we have ever been to! They give great service, they care, the staff is wonderful and honest, they treat us with kindness and respect. It’s not often that someone can say their dog enjoys going to the vet but she is excited to go, excited for the appointment and overall just loves to come here! “First visit. had to bring my dog in for a suspected infection today, I was so upset and anxious for my dog and because of m/h issues. But the receptionists were lovely and genuinely have a love for animals. When we got seen by the vet, she was really nice and gentle to my dog. And explained everything that she was doing step by step. And answered all our questions and concerns. and now I'm back home knowing my dog should be better in a couple of weeks. I honestly don't know what I would of done without their help. I have been off work for m/h for months and couldn't afford to take her to my usual vets. “Everything about my experience here was wonderful. The friendly, professional, helpful, caring nurses and vets. and the texts on a special app. together with photos of my guinea pig boar, Montgomery Duke of Fluffolk which kept me immediately informed of every moment of his neutering operation and recovery. The surgery was exemplary. Clean, almost invisible suturing and speedy recovery. The cost included a check up later that week and was so much cheaper than any other vet I know. I highly recommend this specialist practice. Since I wrote this review my guinea pig Monty had to be admitted as an emergency. Another vet had diagnosed a small lump as cancerous but stated that it was inoperable. The lump rapidly grew and, within days, was huge, bleeding and clearly painful. I called Suffolk Exotic Vets and they said bring him right in. They said they would remove the lump immediately. We had taken Monty's companion pig, Jenny, with him to calm him and we were allowed to leave her there to help him recover. She stayed overnight, was housed, fed and spoilt for not one penny extra. I was kept informed of and sent photos of everything on the Pets App which is a great app and so helpful and immediate. Doctor Catherine Thomas who performed the surgery looked after him overnight and was there when we picked him up the next day. His meds were included in the price as was his post op check. The love and care shown towards this little guinea pig was overwhelming as was the care shown for his owners. Monty has recovered very well. His op site is clean and scabbing well and he is the pig he used to be. This is the best veterinary practice I have ever experienced in over 60 years of keeping animals and I would unhesitatingly recommend it to anyone who wants highly skilled and caring staff who really know their profession and their animals and who also genuinely care for the owners.”

“We left our Maine Coon with Sheila and Trevor who cared for him brilliantly. As this was our first time ever leaving him, they gave us updates on how he was doing. He returned to us very happy, well cared for and they had also brushed his long fur as well. We are already booked in again for the summer. Thank you for looking after him.”

“I cannot speak highly enough about George the vet. He was great with a pet Lizard, and has recently saved my husky's life by removing a toy from her guts. He waisted no time in diagnosis and promptly operated. The 6 month check up He was again great with explanations and happy to answer my questions. Horsford vets are the only vets I will use as all the staff are pleasant and helpful. Experience with other vets I cannot say the same.”

“I can not rate Jane or her cattery high enough. We had an unusual request as our cats required long time boarding as we had flown them over from Australia. Jane and her team were extremely accommodating and nothing was ever too much trouble and we were allowed to visit them anytime. I would happily send any of my cats there again and thank you again Jane and Fred for looking after them when we could not. Forever grateful.”
