“I've been a customer of Primo for many years. The owner has always been friendly and it's always had a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I popped in Sunday afternoon with the family and dogs after a nice walk. We had paninis and a pint which were quality. We sat in the outside seating/dining that perfectly resembles the outdoor dining areas of Italy/France. This is great to start seeing more of this in the UK. There's plenty of public parking and access to public transport on Carlton Hill. I thought I'd also mention that my wife had a delicious croissant and they have an excellent selection of pastries. 10/10 looking forward to my next visit.”

They close at 2 but as we'd not eaten everything they let us stay until we were ready to leave. Friendly and helpful from start to finish, will definitely be back for another afternoon tea. “Visited to have breakfast for the first time since the new owners took over. Very friendly staff and owner. Very clean and inviting seating area. The breakfast was first class. Proper tasty thick sausage, tasty bacon, Heinz baked beans and Italian tomatoes. Didn't leave hungry, good portions. I would definitely recommend this cafe and will be going again soon.”

For anyone local or further afield make this a stop off point when going for a walk around Attenborough, look carefully on your maps and you will find a twitchel that brings you out opposite the Bistro from near the Trent circular walk. “First visit to the games cafe and loved the whole experience. Fantastic selection of games for all the family. Table service is a bit slow but it was a really busy day with lots of bookings and did not cause an issue. Ordered 3 pizzas for the family to share and as there is only one pizza oven it did take a while but we were advised at the time of booking so no problem. Good selection of hot, cold, alcoholic and milkshake drinks available. We had a large booking and all enjoyed it. Will definitely recommend and go again.”
