“Great Indian restaurant in the area. We walked in without a reservation and just managed to get a seat! They were at near full capacity. The food and drinks were cooked well and provided as an opportunity to enjoy some good local cuisine. We ordered the Tandoori Rattan and chips to share and we enjoyed it immensely! The service was good and the staff were pleasant. Definitely recommended!”

“My friend and I went to Orissa for the first time this evening. We were greeted with friendly smiles and shown to our table. The staff were attentive and our food came out at a good time. The food itself… absolutely beautiful!! The flavour profiles in each dish were delicious and the presentation was gorgeous. The portions are really good sizes, we couldn’t finish our meals and bought the rest home with us. The price is good value and we’ll be definitely going back again. Thank you for a lovely evening.”

“Been here a few times now and always have exceptional food and service and last night was no exception! We love the special Tuesday's as its great value for money. “We visited prior to a matinee performance at Theatre Royal. The decor was beautiful, the staff all very attentive. Sebastian was our waiter and was fab, full of smiles and very helpful. The food was extremely good, we had the 2 course for £25 and 2 from the group had a main off of the main menu, all of it delicious and made to a high standard. Followed by a desert. On leaving the heavens opened and one of the staff (we didn’t get his name) found us an umbrella to borrow, so kind and helpful. Overall a really good experience and would absolutely recommend and will definitely return.”

“I recently visited New China City as part of a Chinese takeaway tour I’m doing and this one is up there with the best. The special chow mein was great quality, well seasoned with soy and had lots of chicken and king prawns in it whilst the crispy beef was in a sweet and spicy sauce.”

“Fantastic restaurant with amazing food and super friendly service. You step in from the A60 and you are transported to the almalfi coast with a great Italian restaurant. We had an excellent meal out for my dads 70th birthday. The staff were friendly and helpful and nothing was too much to help him celebrate. The food - wow! The food was just fantastic. Great portion sizes and so delicious. The calzone was just amazing and the profiteroles were just sensational. It was my first time visiting and it won’t be my last. Great place.”
