“I rang up to get my car booked in for a service and MOT (expecting like most service centres to have to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment). Glenn was extremely helpful and accommodating and let me pick any day that suited me (that week!). I ended up having to change the day due to work commitments and this was no bother. Unlike other service centres (who seemed to want to do everything under the sun for a minor service), Glenn and the team said they would take a look at the car, plug it in, and only do the work that needed doing and were 100% open and honest about this - and although I have no idea what definitely needed doing, I took their advice and I felt confident in the knowledge that Glenn and the team were being truthful and honest. I picked the car up that evening (nice and clean which was a bonus) and was pleasantly surprised by the cost for both the service and the MOT. I can say that the customer service was great, the cost was fantastic and actually less than I had expected, and whilst I don't know any of the technical details regarding the parts or what was actually done, I did feel very pleased with the whole experience. I would definitely recommend to others and will be revisiting in the future.”

“What an excellent service. My granddaughter had a puncture on Friday evening and in attempting to remove the locking wheel nut it broke. With the help of her boyfriend and friends she managed to get some air into the tyre to get it home. On Saturday morning I rang Mr Clutch and the very helpful gentleman that answered the phone said he could help and for her to bring it in. She did so and they replaced the wheel nuts and tyre for a very reasonable price and she was able to pick it back up on Saturday afternoon. I was so appreciative as we were unable to help as we were away for the weekend. We previously had a new clutch fitted to my wife’s Audi by them and my father in law wouldn’t go anywhere else. Would definitely recommend.”

“Harris came to my rescue by a complete coincidence! My engine light came and I parked in a random car park an hour away from home where Harris happened to be waiting for his wife, he was very kind and reassured me it would be okay, he swiftly diagnosed the problem and fixed in within 15 minutes for a reasonable price, he was very kind and offered to tow me if the problem arised again which it didn’t and I made it home! If it wasn’t for Harris I was still be sat in that car park but now I am at home because the RAC was going to take 4 hours! thank you so much, would definitely recommend!”

Had quite a lot of work done to the caravan, new roof lights, issues with wiring and most recently our jockey wheel collapsed. Dave responded quickly to my message and came round and fixed it. Prices always good and he doesn't replace parts or find faults to fix. Just does a great job and what is needed. Honest man.”

Being a woman i always feel that garages will rip me off saying something needs replacing when it doesn't, but at The Forge they only do what they have to and their prices are very reasonable.
