We called our vets in the car on the way to them who then said take her to the vet hospital in farnham which we did ... absolutely 1st class treatment and amazing lovely staff. Couldn't fault it. “This is the most brilliant, warm and welcoming vets. Previously we were with hall place in Stokenchurch and I dreaded visiting as it had a really cold and unwelcoming feel but this vets couldn’t be any better. The reception staff are always so friendly and chatty and we’ve received nothing but amazing professional care for our dog. Our new vet Hazel is an absolute credit to your team. You can tell how passionate she is for her work and she is so personable and takes the time to make sure she is doing the right thing for your dog. “I would like to write some positive experiences with Lower Earley branch. Proactively remind me about next collection of medication. Answers all questions over telephone calls. I had to do 2 claims recently and learning about the process, when you raise any claims on pet insurance portal if you give direct branch email, process will be smooth because branch is very responsive once they receive email from insurance provider. Very happy with service.”

“Took my 12 week old Cocker spaniel Murphy in for his second set of vaccinations. I was a bit anxious as he has never been to a vet with me before but he absolutely loved it there, the ladies on reception made such a fuss of him and he was lapping it up. Hamid the vet was very professional and I’m not sure if Murphy actually realised that he’d been vaccinated his tail never stopped wagging . Future care was discussed with me and I’m pleased to know that Murphy will be in good hands.”

“Two years ago Sophie went in with dehydration and loss of appetite. We weren’t too sure what was causing it but it turns out she needed IV fluid, 9 mile is the best place we could’ve taken her to because two years later she’s got more energy than ever before. She’s now 16, due to be 17 in May I could see her going for a few more years. I don’t know what they did to her at that place but they’ve given her a whole new life.”

“Been coming to Elm Cottage with all our animals (cat, dog and bunnies) for several years and always had a great professional service. We recently had to put our cat to sleep and the service received by the vet team was superb, caring yet professional. Our dog looses her usual bouncy confidence once in the door but at each vet visit gets given so many treats and cuddles from the vet so she doesn't mind going. Highly recommend!”

“Our cat Peanut came back after many days and nights out with a smashed in face and covered in blood. At Drove they wired up his jaw and fixed him up perfect very quickly and now he has a normal cat face. We were very pleased and happy. The little wire can just be seen at the bottom of his jaw in the picture taken shortly afterwards.”

“This veterinary center is truly fantastic! The reception staff, vets, and nurses are all incredibly kind and welcoming. I come to this vet specifically even though I live much further away! In the past, I've had experiences where other vet clinics were hesitant to approach my dog just because he barked a few times and wanted to muzzle him. However, Crossroads gave us the time we needed during appointments to help my dog get used to the smells and gradually train him to feel comfortable with the vets. Thanks to their patience, my dog likes going to the vets. They really took the time to understand our needs and never judged us. They even support us by incorporating our own training techniques. They’re very thorough in identifying potential issues and always take the time to answer all of our questions. I’m so thankful for the Crossroads team—thank you!”

“Chris felstead- I have been with him for 10 years. Other vets fail to correctly diagnose and their response to all appointments has been in leave in Overnight or carry out extortionate tests. 99% have failed to identify, where Chris has always recommended at home treatments where possible. I no longer have insurance since it was tripled with no explanation and no ongoing illnesses, and so all treatments are self funded. I really wish that veterinary practices were more fairly/reasonably priced, but understand that this is a huge money making industry. I am very nervous and sceptical about booking any other vet than Chris. Have standards / qualifications dropped in this field or do many no longer care? Perhaps their owning companies have set financial targets per appointment?”

“Was having difficulty getting an acceptable price on car insurance. Been a company car driver for over 4 decades so no insurance in my name and despite having letters from previous employers confirming no accidents whist in their employment (I had use of company car for private use). Swinton Insurance, who insure my wife's car as the main user but I'm a named driver and have been for close to 40 years didn't take this into account, nor the fact I had never made a claim as a named driver. Andrew Francis at Howdens listened to my tale of woe and provided an acceptable quote. Hopefully nest year with one years no claims I can look forward to some discount!”
