“Popped in for a meal whilst working in area and had the loviest meal, had Chicken Tikka Massala with Pilau Rice, was very nice and freshly cooked. The Garlic naam was the best I've ever had....absolutely delicious!! Oh and the lime pickle went down a treat to. Staff are so hospitable and was lovely that the chef came out and greeted us, real nice touch.”

“We popped into Veena's Kitchen on a bit of a whim yesterday evening and can say with confidence it was the best Thai food I've had in years. The starters were tasty (chicken wings & prawn crackers) & the Thai Green Curry was delicious & punchy. My partner had the Pad Gra Phrao which was also very tasty. Service was impeccable & the total bill reasonable. I can highly recommend a visit. We'll be back very soon!”

The food is outstanding, it's not licensed, so you can take your own, (or buy it from the store next door) The service, again was great with good advice from the team, definitely worth a visit. The Wednesday night banquet is great value, but you've got to book early and because the portions are generous we had some food to take away as well. Perfect.”

The lassi brought back childhood memories, the dosa was crispy and comforting, Chicken 65 had the perfect spice, and the chai? Just soul-soothing. Abu, who looked after us throughout the night, made us feel like more than just customers—by the end of the evening, he felt like a friend. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the menu were impressive, and his recommendations were spot on. “My first review 11 months ago Wonderful food, service and presentation The proprietor warm and friendly front of house with a busy and professional open kitchen behind him. I had vegetarian dishes which were as delicious as anything I've ever eaten. I collected, but they realised after that the poppadom’s hadn't been bagged so ran a car to my hotel to drop off. The extra mile done with great professionalism and good will. Back tomorrow night and can’t wait. Just been back and Wow!! My team worked in the area last year, and so impressed were we, I left a Google review. This week we were back and ready for a second bite. Not disappointed and, if anything, the food was even better. The sounds of Mmmm, Ooh, and lip-smacking was all that could be heard as the team and I tucked in to our delicious crispy papadums sauce and chutneys aplenty, mouth-watering starters, and top-drawer mains. The fish masala was just something else, dish of the night for me. And like last year the veggie options were well considered, flavoursome, perfectly cooked, and not trying to be curry without the meat, rendering any meat course irrelevant in my view. The meat eaters were equally pleased and consider this place one of the best anywhere. So, I’m over the moon that this gem is thriving and cooking up some of the Indian subcontinent’s finest cuisine”

Strangely though, on the last visit, directed to sit next to a large family group while the other half of the restaurant was empty upon arrival and still empty on departure. However, the quality of the food more than made up for it! Fast service; maybe a little too fast.”

“My local curry restaurant. I highly recommend that you try this place if you like curry and you live in the reading area. Quite possibly the only reason to come to burghfield unless you live here or you've got lost looking for somewhere else. The onion bhajis are excellent to start. The mixed grill main course is a family favourite and I'm slowly working my way through their other dishes - so far, all good. The staff are friendly and the service is excellent.”

“I have known of this restaurant for a while, but do not live near by. Finally I decided to pay a visit. I loved their food and service. The front desk lady is super efficient. The menu is delectable and have many of my favorites. I loved the Thali concept as it provided many of my favorites in small portions, more than enough in quantity for a person's meal. All the dishes tasted great and I ended up having takeaways as well. One of the owners was there and came to greet which is a wonderful gesture. I hope this restaurant flourishes as there are not many authentic Bengali restaurants around. Looking forward to my next visit.”

“Namaste is always our go to Nepalese restaurant as all of their foods were delicious to name a few were pork momos , pani puri, chicken sekuwa, paneer etc.. It’s only a 10 drive away from us and the staff were very nice. Always happy to come here and highly recommended! 5 STAR service and food.”

“A gem of a place! Beautiful, little cosy restaurant with lovely food and lovely staff. We ordered Nepalese Chicken curry, Fulka Rotis, Chilli Momos and Saag Palak. The food was yum. Everything was very fresh and tasted authentic. We also tried their Gurkha Beer, which was surprisingly smooth and light. The chilli momos could have been a bit more spicy though, but still good. The staff were very warm and welcoming. We had a delightful experience. Definitely recommend.”
