A fantasticly broad menu that will cater to all needs and best of all....won't break the bank. The service was exceptional with a young man (international student from china) being kind, courteous and recounting stories from his family to support my beer choices. Couldn't fault it!”

“Amazing Italian restaurant!! Me and my daughter went there for a meal off chance. Even it was quite late the chef was happy to cook for us a meal that was not on a menu! Our meal was fresh and full of flavour! The staff were friendly and made us welcome from the moment we arrived! Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a family gathering, or just a delicious plate of pasta, this place delivers. I can’t wait to come back – it truly felt like a little slice of Italy!”

“Stopped here for a pint a couple of times... Great pub garden, lots of seating and nicely set out. Tables and sunshades are plentiful, and there are big and small tables, private areas and loads of character. Drinks are tasty and reasonably priced. Also plenty of parking and food looked delicious!”

The food is always of a good standard (can vary depending on day of the week) and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. The menu is very much standard but really enjoy the salt and chilli ribs and their satay sauce, much more authentic than your standard Chinese”

“Sit & Sip is a brilliant addition to Wokingham. The craft beer selection is outstanding. I’m a big fan of their paddle option which lets you sample several beers at a great price. The sleek, modern ambience sets it apart from a traditional pub, and their events, like Oktoberfest, are always exceptional. Highly recommend.”

We were seen straight away with lovely servers, and our food was lovely. the atmosphere is very calm and was nice and chilled despite being busy. i want to leave a special shout out to Michael for being so helpful, kind and welcoming during our evening. “Had a flyer through my door with great photo's of their Thai food, so I thought I would try them. I thought my Thai Green curry was pretty good but after having one from their menu I was amazed ! it was stunning, so good I went back the following week and then also with the girlfriend and then the following weekend with 2 friends, we were all very very impressed with the superb menu stunning food and great service, give them a try you will not be disappointed. “I’ve been here twice now and the staff are really friendly and clearly a strong team. I had the truffle burger and chips option in the meal deal with the room and it was gorgeous. The burger was cooked just right, the chips crisp and fluffy, the mushroom done just right so it wasn’t leaking juice everywhere. Staff were attentive and genuinely seemed to take pride in the service they offered.”

“We went today for a festive Sunday lunch. The food was excellent? Bottomless sides and fantastic roasts. The staff were attentive and friendly, excellent service. Fantastic lunch, great atmosphere and everything was quick despite it being incredible busy.”

“The food was so tasty. My husband and I had lamb shank, there was so much meat on the bone and we ordered cauliflower cheese as a side, this was V cheesy and there was plenty. Mother in law had the venison stew, she said it was tasty and there was loads. My son had the boar sausage, he ate everything and said it tasted really good. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming. We were a bit cold in the snug, but they turned the heating up for us and we soon warmed up. Will definitely go again.”

“Really lovely place, very friendly welcoming staff, food was lovely and hot and fresh, superb bubble and squeak! The only downfall was, we waited 40mins for our food, now I don't expect fast food, I like a proper fresh cooked breakfast, and granted, this place was very busy when we arrived, but it might be worth giving customers the heads up if it's busy and telling them a rough wait time? Fortunately we had the time on our hands to wait, but had we somewhere to be we may have decided not to stay had we known it was that busy. That aside, the food was definitely worth the wait, staff work hard and all provide a good service, it has not put us off returning atall, just honest feedback.”

“A casual pub dinner far exceeded our expectations in terms of food quality and quantity - so many prawns in the linguine! The service was fabulous, thanks to Holly and Sophia. We had been told there was no Whitebait left so ordered a different starter but then two generous plates of whitebait arrived for us. We were of course very happy with this but were still offered a complimentary glass of wine each due to this slight miscommunication. A really lovely experience sat in the outdoor dining area on a balmy summers evening, with a gentle buzz of conversation around us, plus great food and service. Thanks Foundry Bell.”
