“The nicest staff I experienced in any Tesco and general all stores. Helpful, friendly,. Accessible parking. All essential products suitable for local needs”
“Good fast service. Full selection of fields. 24 hrs pay at the pump.”
“I’d like to say a huge thank you to the team at Tesco Express in Maidenhead for their continued kindness and generosity. They have kindly donated cakes and biscuits to the senior group and unpaid carers group that I help run, and it truly makes a difference. These donations help create a welcoming, friendly atmosphere and mean a great deal to people who often give so much of themselves caring for others. It’s wonderful to see a local store supporting the community in such a thoughtful and practical way. The staff are always friendly, approachable, and clearly care about the people around them. Tesco Express in Maidenhead is a real asset to the community, and their support is very much appreciated.”
“Tesco is fabulous. Can drop your glass off on your way to shop. Fill your car with petrol and do your weekly shopping (or day-to-day). They also have a pharmacy and photo print machine, often used for last minute art projects.”
“This store has everything you’ll need for a quick shop; and much more, that proves harder to find in a larger store. Staff are super friendly and treat you as your friends would. Emma and Alex are true stars and know exactly what the customer needs. Prices are reasonable, often better than Lidl or Aldi.”
“This is my go-to Coop. It is very conveniently located and used by many students. The place is very well stocked and very clean. It is a pleasure to shop there. I top up my electricity, get groceries and also get a cheeky Costa drink! They have very good deals too.”
“I visited today to buy my favourite Falafel sandwich and regular coffee. Unfortunately, milk got over in the coffee machine. The chap at the counter was very polite and offered large coffee as I had to wait for 5-10 min. No big deal - as it happens! But I comment his politeness and for the offer. Great service, truly M&S brand.”
“Lovely staff with a friendly at atmosphere. A lot of fresh produce to be bought, including bakery items, fruit, baguettes and sandwiches. The shop is clean and organic used with full stock of items on the shelf.”
“Always well stocked, tidy and quick at the tills with the self service”
“Absolutely excellent experience. Called in lovely caring atmos and nice audio on for good atmosphere too. Nice simple music nothing heavy and cheering. Caring busy staff , helpful and efficient today Mon 12th Feb 2024. Would definitely call in again if in the area if today is to go by. For ready meals and fruit juice eg as today. Thanks to staff and Tesco.”
“It's a Tesco Express. A reasonable range of items, just right to pop into on my way home when I can't be bothered to go to Sainsbury's in Friar Street. Nothing to complain about for a small shop.”
“Friendly, helpful, professional staff. It is a well-stocked shop which is clean and tidy. Clean, spacious forecourt. There's a Costa Express. A jet wash. There are extra long hoses for when fuelling.”
“Asda Lower Earley isn’t your typical supermarket experience, it’s far better. Set within a striking, glass-fronted building that feels more like a modern department store than a weekly shop, it’s spacious, bright, and genuinely pleasant to walk around. No soulless metal box here, this is a thoughtfully designed space that lifts the mood before you’ve even picked up a basket. Inside, the selection is vast and well-organised, making everything from everyday essentials to specialist ingredients easy to find. Fresh produce is abundant and well-stocked, and there’s a strong variety in world foods, bakery, and chilled ranges. It’s the kind of store where you can do a full weekly shop and still pick up a good-value bottle of fizz on the way out. Prices are reliably competitive, and the customer service stands out, helpful, polite and refreshingly unflustered. You get the sense staff take pride in the store. In short, Asda Lower Earley is a proper gem: easy to navigate, well presented, and a cut above the standard big-box supermarket. Well worth a visit even if it’s just for the sheer joy of a bright, spacious trolley dash.”
“I occasionally send packages from this store without any problems. However, there was one instance when a package I had delivered to the store was lost. It was marked as received, but the store claimed it never arrived. The young man at the counter did look around and even called the owner to double-check if they had misplaced my package. Therefore, I can only base my judgment on that experience.”
“I've been here a couple times as Asda has some cereal that I can't find elsewhere.. there is plenty of space to move around, always in and out without any issue & always friendly staff. It isn't easy to get to from the centre of Reading & the best way to go there is to drive or to walk if you have the time.”
“Very helpful / friendly staff, l went in to pick up a spare elec key! .”
“Very clean , well stocked and friendly staff. Manager helped me to find some essential items which I was looking for. Definitely going there again”
“Perfect shop little to expensive but is dozens matter att all I love shopping there and is close to my flat and it has little bad dates but is okay love the shoo recommend to everyone I loveeeee this ship goodbye londis man”
“The store is fully stocked with a wide range of items similar to any other coop. The staff is friendly and accommodating, creating a welcoming atmosphere.”
“Very useful and very kind workers there. Assisted with everything and had everything on stock, with quality items and an assortment of things. Many people complain about the shop opening late but I have heard from locals they live quite far away so I don't think its a reason to blame them but I understand frustration for parcels. 5 stars (personally).”
