“My 2 year old and I had a lovely few hours at Buddies today. Its only our second time visiting (the first time he was only just walking). It's definitely going to be a regular spot for us, not just because it's a great place for him to burn off some energy, but because it's the cleanest indoor play area that I've been too! “This is the second time l have used Brakemadters/Powerhouse. The first time was a few years ago, when they refurbed the callipers of my VFR800. They did a great job. This time, it was the front callipers of my '93 VFR750. They were in a state after 32 yrs of use and my ham -fisted maintenance. They were faded, scratched and really shabby. I elected for a full refurbishment & repainted to original Nissin VFR gold. They needed new pistons as well. The pictures attached speak for themselves. They look as good as new. If asked, l will always recommend Powerhouse/Brakemasters. They will certainly be getting more work from me when l get around to sorting my other bikes.”

“My friend had an emergency appointment after being in so much pain with an infected tooth that they could barely function and hadn't slept in days, so I managed to get them an appointment through 111. In no time, the lovely dentist Fiona yanked that tooth out giving my friend much needed relief. Staff (including reception) were amazing, and my friend was given clear instructions on how to care for the wound. My friend managed to get sleep, finally. And the day after, there is still no pain. Thank you so much for the relief you provided to my friend.”

“We were looking for somewhere for lunch and stumbled across the Olive Grove. At first, we thought they were closed as it looked dark through the windows. When we got inside we were greeted by a very friendly member of staff offering to find us a table and insisting they were open! I think there were two other customers in there, so it was very quiet. (the number of customers is often an indication how good a place is, so I was a little cautious). Anyway, I needn’t have worried. It turned out to be a lovely place to stop for lunch. I suspect as it’s a Bistro and a little tucked away, their evening trade will be their most busy time. The staff were very helpful and the service prompt. The decafe tea was good and the food excellent. I had a platter on a wooded board, with chunks of different types of bread, cheese, olives, salad and cold meats. It was delightful! By the time we walked out I felt I had just sampled a taste of Spain.”
