“We went there last Sunday the 30th Nov and we didn't wait long for the meal which was a 4 person platter and there was more than enough for 4,the staff were excellent and very friendly, it was a really good experience and we will definitely go again thank you so much to a great team,”

“Spent a couple of hours today with my amazing wife over a Sunday Roast, in my case a Trio of Roasts. The food was delicious, service excellent and atmosphere buzzing with chatter. Thank you to Rory and Sarah.”

“Me and my boyfriend had the best time today spending time with the sweetest cats that call this cafe home! They’re extremely well looked after, love interacting with customers and are very clearly loved by the volunteer members of staff. We also ate at the cafe afterwards where we had the most amazing homemade pizza - wish I had taken a photo before we finished it. Overall, had an amazing time. So wonderful to hear about the work they do here and will definitely be visiting again in the future.”

“First time popping in since it’s changed names and managers. Very impressed with the cleanliness the staff were lovely I was served by Chantelle I think her name was. Also added bonus a bouncy castle which kept the little one entertained for a while we will certainly be back!”

“We went for lunch on a Tuesday myself, wife and baby. Food was delicious. We asked for a table with space for the pram and my mobility aid and the lady showing us to the table was so polite and moved chairs out of the way to make our table more comfortable for us. It’s a small thing but when you’re disabled and have a newborn small things like that can make a big difference. Our server Beth was great, very polite and helpful. The food was great. The menu has changed since last time I visited but it was delicious.”

“We booked a room at The Riverside for an 18th birthday party. Communication from the start was great. Rooms to hire are lovely and all the staff at the Riverside are very polite and welcoming. Extra special thanks to the two young bar staff last night at our party, nothing was too much trouble for them, very friendly and polite :-) would definitely recommend Riverside for venue hire and would happily use again in the future.”

“Booked here for my daughter's christening party The staff here are lovely and friendly super helpful great people. The venue is what you get from an old pub but is a lovely space the outside has the most amazing view as well. The food buffet was good just could of done with a salad or fresh veg or fruit options but it hit the spot for my guests. The atmosphere was lovely here and I would definitely recommend coming here for a drink”

“First time here to eat food and it was lovely. Staff very friendly and helpful . I wanted to move seats because the air con was on and I was cold so we moved and I informed them and it was not a problem. Food arrived within 5 /10 mins .”

“Very comfortable room with ensuite and plenty of hot water, but no biscuits to nibble with tea in the room. However, the food is very good, well presented in generous portions in the restaurant. The classic breakfast set us up for the day. Thank you to Lewis and the team for an enjoyable two night stay.”
